Reid and Chiefs fans whining about the PI on Dez

IMO it is PI and do not get why they are whining. Reid thinks it was the wrong call and so do many Chiefs fans.

“[There was] one call in particular that was probably not the right call,” Reid said. “We’re all going to have our good days and bad days but the one with Nelson, I thought Nelson had the right of way on that and was called for pass interference. It ended up being a big play on that drive and didn’t allow us to get off the field and get back on and go when we had a little bit of momentum.”

Regardless of how you feel about the play, Reid is right in saying that with no call, that’s a Chiefs stop, and the momentum stays with the Chiefs.

I can only imagine how butt-hurt they'd be if their opponents hadn't been called for offensive holding in something like, I dunno, 5 consecutive games?

I don't want to hear ANY team complaining about favorable reffing for the Cowboys. Please.

Reid is fudging us in another way.

Eagles owner called him and said I made a mistake firing you.... who could I get like you as head coach?

We gave them a fluke TD. Game would've been a massacre and we're by far the more superior team of the 2. Took away the big play and A.Smith looked like A.Smith and Hunt looked like a Rookie!

Exactly what my prediction was on the the "Prediction Thread" a few days ago.

I mean it's not the best call I've ever seen, but I think it's a good call. I think the fact that he kinda had one of Dez's arms trapped under his (inadvertently I believe) as Dez went for the ball is what got Dez the call.

This was pass interference. He impeded the wr's ability to make a play on the ball by putting his arm around him. I am shocked they decided to whine about that call.

Whining about calls just makes coaches sound… Whiny. The missed call on whoever it was bear hugging Lee from behind should have perpetuated a Dallas Drive. Cry me a river.

If the defender had turned around and there was incidental contact I would agree but he basically put Dez in a bear hug and prevented him from cutting inside to make a play for the ball.

Considering how many times Dez gets held, hit early etc. he was due to get a close one go his way.

No team in the league gets screwed more by the refs than Dallas, it’s been like 5 games now without a single hold call?

Don’t see Dak getting any roughing calls either, yet in other games if the QB’s head is hit with a finger it’s a flag.

I watch other games and I see stuff that gets called that I thought was legal from watching Dallas each week.

It was a terrible call. If one of our DB's got flagged for something like that I would be apoplectic.
But they have in the past, this year to be exact. I watched Lee get mugged around the neck on one play yesterday chasing down a runner with no flag. It happens and it seems to me us more than others.

It was a fairly easy call to make. Nelson clearly was not playing the ball and was impeding Dez instead. He did have his head coming around, so it was at least pointing in the direction of the throw, so I could see an official not calling PI for that reason, but he was clearly interfering with Dez's attempt to get the ball before the ball arrived. That wasn't face guarding, and he wasn't trying to get to the ball himself because he hadn't located it and wasn't looking for it until he'd already committed the interference.

I'm just not seeing it, but I'm glad it went our way.

Seriously? They are complaining about the one, let me repeat that, one post snap penalty that the refs called on them? Give me a break. They played the entire game with the refs ignoring every single infraction they committed during actual plays. Did anyone even notice that that one post snap penalty didn't come until they took the lead? Once Dallas took it back, the flags got put away again.

I thought it was a good call, but your point is taken about our fans losing their minds had it been called on us.

I thought most fans had a level of understanding of the game until I saw people arguing about that obvious hold called on Tyron last week.
