Reid and Chiefs fans whining about the PI on Dez

I saw lots of holding by their OL not called. If the refs were fair, we would have got more calls for us. Overall the Chiefs got more favors by the refs. So Andy, sit down. Go find a way to win. Stop looking like a crybaby.

I'm just not seeing it, but I'm glad it went our way.

Me, too.

I know a still is tough to take anything away from without the full context, but here's the look I was talking about:

That's before the ball arrives, and it sure looks like he's playing Dez and not the ball at that point.

Correct call. Dez went for the ball, the defender did not. If I remember correctly, he was almost able to get a hand on it when reaching out which means the receiver was impeded by DB.

It was clear PI. The defender wrapped his arms around Dez. Looking for the ball or not looking for
The ball, he can’t do that.

Every fan base thinks they get hosed by the refs. Why would KC's be any different?

LOL, I was reading a KC forum gameday thread for the lolz, and they were complaining multiple times about not getting a holding call against the Boys O-line when they were rushing at various times. Sure was tempted to create an account just to enlighten them about our "No Holding Calls" called on opponents timeframe has been like.

So we are to believe that wasn't the right call, yet there average tackles kept the league's best pass rusher off Alex Smith legally the ENTIRE game???

Honestly if my team had been physically man handled like that I think I might just shut up and take my spanking

IMO it is PI and do not get why they are whining. Reid thinks it was the wrong call and so do many Chiefs fans.

“[There was] one call in particular that was probably not the right call,” Reid said. “We’re all going to have our good days and bad days but the one with Nelson, I thought Nelson had the right of way on that and was called for pass interference. It ended up being a big play on that drive and didn’t allow us to get off the field and get back on and go when we had a little bit of momentum.”

Regardless of how you feel about the play, Reid is right in saying that with no call, that’s a Chiefs stop, and the momentum stays with the Chiefs.

The rule, as written, stinks IMO. You can't ask a DB to defy the laws of physics and magically disappear if the QB throws the ball behind him. But them's the rules Andy, everybody gets screwed by them equally except maybe Green Bay.

But they have in the past, this year to be exact. I watched Lee get mugged around the neck on one play yesterday chasing down a runner with no flag. It happens and it seems to me us more than others.
Saw that too, unreal.

I need to see the replay but watching it live I remember thinking it was a pretty clear PI.

It looked to me like his back was turned and he got his hands on Dez's arms before the ball got there. I haven't rewatched it, though.

What about Xavier Woods "block in the back".

It wasn't. They called a personal foul - blindside block - penalty. Which carried a 15 yard infraction instead of a 10 for a block in the back. It was a crappy call none the less.

Thought that was the one call we got the entire football game. Numerous missed DL holds- one resuting in an extended KC Drive to give them the lead.

We GAVE them a TD and still won by 11. Objectively- KC was lucky they weren't completely blown out yesterday.

It was a terrible call. If one of our DB's got flagged for something like that I would be apoplectic.

They do get flagged- for everything even similar to that play. See: Anthony Brown vs Commanders 8 days ago.

There was even a blatant hold on Jeff Heath during the Tyreek Hill touchdown.

Fine him Goodell!!!!! Goodell???? Are you there? Oh sorry, you must be busy trying to escape the wrath of Jerry Jones.

Thank God we don't have any whiny fans on the CZ! Lol
