There for the grace of Buddha go we

Iffin Reid had raised his sons in Farmers Branch they would be mechanics or street engineers or wench operators. We have a good JC that can let you major in geography and diesel mechanics, so that would have occupied their time and given them a good check.
Of course, they would miss the good pizza in Filthy, but they could go to Dallas or Irving for good Mexican food and to East Dallas for good Q and whatever their cravings desire.
Well, good luck, coach with your sons.
They will grow out of it. Iffin not, send them to FB where the women are easy but not cheap. And where we invented the liquor barn concept.

Yes I don't know

But most NFL Coaches work 16 hour days. I doubt he was at most if not any of his kids childhood games, school events and school stuff there. Not a long shot to state these kids had money and no parental reigns, why they are all arrested multiple times and menaces to society.

And at best he failed as a parent here at some level, and thats all that really matters in big picture..

Sure is easy to make assumptions about a situation you don't know anything about, isn't it!

lets get real NFL coaches can't be successful and have a family life for the most part. no CEO-type or 18-hour a day worker can either. this is a 18/7/365 job. no days off.

just look at marv lewis. the tragety of his son and half his team in jail and this is supposed to be the best of the best.

gimme a break there is just no substitute for time with family. andys young menare grown adults but obviously have serious issues going back to when they were boys.

What happened to Marv Lewis' son? Did I miss something? Perhaps you meant Tony Dungy's son...

Sounds like old Nors logic ......

I will just ignore it because only a fool would blame Reid for what his 20+ years old sons are doing ...... from what I have heard this pattern of behavior started after they were out of his house.

They are knuckleheads .... no one knows why.

Only a fool would not address the effects an absentee father has on his sons.

I don't hold Reid accountable for the crimes his adult sons have committed. I am just calling out something went terribly wrong in that household.

Andy Reid made a choice,
He chose his football career over his family 20 years ago.

Or Bill Bellichicks son busted on drug charges

BB story on when he realized he had failed as a father, he was on a family vacation in Italy touring and his 14 year old son asked him. Dad, who is that guy with a Beard everywhere.

The problem is, you are saying that without having any earthly idea. For all you know their household might be idyllic. For all you know it is being away from their parents that has led them down the wrong paths. Pointing fingers at Andy and Tammy Reid doesn't make any sense.

From circa 2000 Philly story

The reid son's carried a lot of anger at being "Andy Reid's Sons"

the other quote I found REALLY interesting. One of the sons said he's a family man. Went on to say he went to work at 4:30 and came home at midnight every day. But when he had free time he always spent it with his family.

And how do you know he was an absentee father? Where did you get this inside info on the lives of the Reid family?

As defending Reid has no merit either.

Reids son said in 2000 his dad went to work at 4:30 and came home at Midnight.

That says it all on his family life - he was an absent dad.

I would like to see this "quote" ...... could you post it or would you like to keep "quoting" it from memory?

He would go in at 4:30 in the morning, break down film for a couple hours, then come home, eat breakfast with us and then go back to the office"

From speaking with Andy Reid, it's obvious that his family takes precedence over everything else in his life.

all the free time he has he spends with his family," said Garrett Reid. "His whole life is based around his family

That really sounds like an absentee dad ......

Thanks for the link ..... now I am even more convinced this is not Andy's fault.

Keep glossing over the fact he said his dad went to work at 4:30 and came home at midnight.

15 year old kid being interviewed by local press. There was anger in those quotes. He never saw his dad.

Keep trying to blame a father for the crimes of grown men ..... apparently those men never listened or followed the example of their dad.
