I don't think he should be criticized at all. That makes me a bigger Lee fan, don't it?
I have his home, white, jersey. So there! I'm bigger.

How can a player be a progress stopper the previous season and not the following season? What in your mind made Lee a progress stopper last season but not this season? I'll help you out because I know how you tick you were frustrated that he was injured again this time for the entire season and tried turning a huge negative into a positive which has always been your MO. You tried to make it appear that losing Lee wasn't a negative it was actually a positive because he was preventing a player you still can't name from getting on the field. Who was playing behind Lee that would have helped the team more than him?
You don't see Lee as a progress stopper this season because he's on the field and playing great. A teams best defensive player isn't a progress stopper get real! A "progress stopper" is an aging player who's past their prime. That player isn't giving you what they use to give and is preventing a younger player with potential from getting game reps. You won't find a post from you on this board claiming Lee's a progress stopper while he's been healthy and playing.

Last night is exactly why that's a stupid idea.
He is easily top-3 at his position, maybe the best, when he's healthy. I understand that's the caveat, but when you have a guy like that, you keep him and hope he can stay healthy, because he's THAT much of a difference maker. His presence on the field is priceless. Plays every down as hard as the last. Just an incredibly intelligent, instinctual player. Let's appreciate it.
Doug Free and Darren McFadden are progress stoppers.
Grrrrr! Well, I have Tom Seaver's jock strap. Let's see anyone top that one!
Who's progress are they stopping?

Parnell for one. Now Collins or Green.
McFadden is stopping all the young guys we have had this year. He has reached his ceiling and it's not good enough or reliable enough.
Parnell is jag and Green hasn't been on the field yet. Your agenda is showing.
