Thanks for posting the thread. I could only shake my head at a few people I told 'Do not forget today' and they basically all replied, "What's today?"
I'm still pissed.
I read a story about a female fighter pilot that was going to kamikaze United flight 93 before it went down....amazing story and sacrifice. Not sure why it took 18 years to hear about this.
I also watched a video of people calling loved ones from the airplanes and the towers. It was heart-wrenching yet made me furious at the same time.
Wow, I've never heard this and I'm a sucker for watching anything 911 related (except the conspiracy crap)
Got a link for this story?
Sad to say people are forgetting....Thanks for posting the thread. I could only shake my head at a few people I told 'Do not forget today' and they basically all replied, "What's today?"
They were illuminated this evening.I'm right across the East River from Ground Zero this morning, and to my surprise I didn't see the two towers of light they've been displaying for years now. It may just be the low clouds blocking them, but I was pretty disappointed not to see them today.
I think they usually do it for several days before and after, but I could be mistaken. It's also possible they were up this morning but obscured by clouds. They were illuminated this evening.
......should September 11 be made a National holiday?
According to the NYT headline yesterday:
Some airplanes flew into the twin towers....as if they flew themselves.
So strange
X2Wish I was the Seal who pulled the trigger on that pig Osama Bin Laden.
