Mostly comedies, because if I'm channel surfing, it usually means I'm burning time, and comedies pass the time fast...

Very similar in humor taste. I would include those on my list too depending on the timing in the movie. Like I loved 40 year old virgin before he finds a love interest, Superbad when they are just geeks feeling out HS (before conflict---but the Cops make the movie for me so kind of odd how that works for this film), Half Baked before Kenny gets arrested, etc. Funny how that can works its way into whether you watch it through, etc. (personally). The Shawshank, Jurassic Park, Goodfellas could be @ any point in the movie and I would finish them.

Lots of the movies mentioned are favorites of mine as well. But, I meant that ONE movie that you can not pass up no matter what point the movie is in

Movies like Shawshank, Aliens, etc.....I like to watch from the beginning and usually won't stop what I am doing to watch it half-way through.
