Sapp fired fired from NFLN so not much of an issue there.

As for CBS, I cannot stand their NFL broadcasts. NFLN not any better. Lose lose in that regard.

Well they're gonna have to bring in someone to discuss the defensive side of the ball to replace Sapp. I just hope it's not Willie Mcginest. Please keep him on during the week when I don't really watch Total Access.

Whoa, an indulgent Christmas and lax keeping of new year resolutions got you touchy? Sapp had many faults being a scumbag was one of them. His girth played into his obnoxiousness. I cant say if he was greasy or not.

haha well my comment certainly got you touchy so welcome to the club. anyways just noted the what i thought was unnecessary to someones character. dont mean to be defending that scumbag but i dont see how body image shaming has anything to do with his scumbagness. a lot of folks are thin and are scumbags too.

did he ever make christmas resolutions? his girth played into his obnoxiousness? how so?

is he shaped like a balloon too? because those make the worst people. real scumbags. chris farley was overweight a lot of people hated him. it really dragged his character. lol

First thing they should change is NFL am. Absolutly horrible. I understand why ESPN has a short portion of highlights. They cover other sports. The people on NFL am are all terrible too. The nightly and afternoon shows have better hosts and are produced much better.
I could also do without the same shows shown 75 times. They must own NFL films and all that footage is under utilized. New shows using it or just show the old shows with Steve Sabol. These top 10 lists over and over are very average.

fair point. but he played with other cats who were his size (sometimes bigger) who could neutralize it. but i get ya. he could use his weight to his advantage to bully people around. like Suge Knight on Vanilla Ice etc.

Suge bullied Ice? Suge seems like such a nice guy. Those guys recently ran into his truck at high speeds with their faces.

If they are getting only 40%, doubt there will be much change.
As mentioned the top 10 lists are old and biased.
Why not show some old games, even a 1978 regular season game that means nothing other than for fans to watch it. Show an entire season of games since it's the off season.

Anyway, the only thing that may happen is CBS will carry all the Thursday night games now. So those without NFLN can see them.

Remember, obesity is not a disease, it is a choice. If a person stops eating, obesity goes away. You can't say the same thing for real diseases like cancer. Now I will grant you this -- it can be harder to overcome an eating addiction because you can't stop eating "cold turkey" like you can smoking.

Never understood how a fan of an NFC team could prefer CBS, since they're very AFC centric. And boring. My god, their broadcasts put me to sleep. I don't see how you can beat Howie/Jimmy/Michael/etc. as a panel and the annoucing teams Fox has.

Very easy to understand. People hate Joe Buck and his bias.

If you listen closely....He can't help but let his hate out for the Cowboys. How he over exaggerates how bad something is going against Dallas...yet when Dallas makes a play...he just glosses over it...like it never happened. His glee for the Packer win over Dallas in the playoffs was the final straw for me. I'll never listen to another Joe Buck broadcast. I'll stream Brad Sham from now on.

Honestly, I never realized Buck was so unliked until a year or so ago. Before that, I thought he and Aikman were a great duo, and didn't notice as much that he had a 'supposed' bias against the Cowboys. I liked that when he was a guest on Conan, he said he would wear the tie he got cut during the interview on the World Series broadcast, and he seemed like a easy enough going guy. Now that I've paid more attention to him, I guess, yeah, sometimes he can come across grating, especailly when the Cowboys are losing or struggling at points in the game. And like everyone else, he has his obvious favorites (same with Collingsworth and his love in for guys like JPP, Ware, ODB, etc), but he's still good enough at his job that I don't hate the Fox network because of him. Aikman is who I pay attention to in that combo anyway, Buck is more just background noise

Joe should just stick with baseball because his knowledge about football leaves something to be desired. Speaking for myself being former player...I can tell he has never put on a uniform because he doesn't report why or how a play worked....instead he just says what a great play so and so made. yet...he is praised as being an "expert". And let's face the facts...If it wasn't for his dad...He would have never been in front of microphone to begin with.

The NFL AM crew is just terrible and the women are clueless and that's coming for a woman. I use to watch them while I was getting ready for work but the women are annoying and really they didn't add anything to the highlights so I quit watching. I watch/listen to Mike and Mike and some mornings I can't stand them either. Total Access is pretty good usually and worth watching. I don't watch sportscenter or any of the NFL shows on BSPN so I can't comment about that.

I really enjoy the NFL game day for pregame and I don't even put fox, cbs or bspn on at all till game time. I know it's all what everyone prefers but I hope if CBS buys nfl network that they don't change things to much because I really enjoy nfl network overall.
