From what I've read.. be it a while back. Some said he was working on getting his condition (Bi-Polar) under control and wasnt concerned with football. In my opinion, if thats true. Then that says volumes on how far hes come.

That's encouraging. Also a bit ridiculous that he has a legitimate illness and is being punished for trying to medicate it. Though I'm not an expert on treating bipolar.

It's nice to see the attitude and view towards Gregory shifting here at CZ. A year ago it was such a different tune.

Let the man play!
I never shifted my tune. But you know that already.
You don't post as much as you used to... I hope you're okay, Trouty.

I see it this way. In 2016,2014 we were knocking on the door of greatness...and if not for a season of suspensions and distractions...we would have AT LEAST won 2 additional games in 2017...so its not like we are the Colts,or the Browns...lol..or void of talent & coaching. Its a matter of keeping our focus I think and being smart on and off the field. Even without Gregory we are pretty damn good..so if he comes back its gravy. The wheels haven't fallen off the wagon, far from it. Lets relax and just wait and see.

I'm pretty familiar with the disorder, and people do medicate themselves with pot. But I've also seen where it can worsen the disorder as well. I guess its kinda like any other medicine that people would take for a condition. Where such and such meds work for some on a condition and the same meds wouldn't work on another person. But I feel if the league would just look the other way like the NBA ,things would be a lot better

Fair point.

If pot becomes legal in more and more states, the NFL will have to allow it.

I don't see how they could legally make it a banned substance as long as they aren't high while practicing, games, meetings etc.

This will end up being the feel good story of the year if he can be reborn essentially and get reinstated PLUS stay clean. Just for him to see the practice field and be with his team mates again would be a huge morale boost for him.

I don't understand the policy of taking guys like Gregory, who need support and positive around them and banishing them from all contact with the team, team mates and friend. That makes no sense. If Gregory has fought his way through this and finds his way back to the team it can only be positive for him. If it's positive for him it can be positive for the team.

I must agree that Bipolar is a bear to deal with...similar to ADhD. I just know many people get relief from the lettuce...they say it helps. So I do see the validity. I have a 24 yr old son that has battled Bipolar adhd most of his life...and I must say..I notice a big difference after he medicates with the lettuce. The only problem is there is a risk of that becoming a gateway drug...so its a catch 22. Damned if u do..damned if u don't.

Thank Goodell for that crap. No rehab program I know of handles folks like this...as if they are criminals..its weird.

If DMT is the gateway drug to pot then he will overdose on Tool and Pink Floyd. You will get tired of all the Alex Grey paintings your son would put on his walls at some point.
