It is not about disrespect. I don't think anyone does not respect his ability. His reliability is what is being questioned and rightfully so.

Exactly.

Everyone whose a Cowboys fan absolutely LOVES Lee...when he's healthy.

The problem is he's rarely healthy and that's a problem for the Cowboys.

I'm more responding to the fact that people are downplaying his abilities because he was never "Selected for the All-Pro". Sean Lee, without a doubt, plays above and beyond nearly every LB in this league when healthy. If it's only 6-11 games, fine, but I will never question how talented he is; especially over some ******** all-pro semantics argument.

Health-wise, of course, he's no reliable. But IF we can at least get 11-13 games out of Sean Lee this year, I'm happy. He's talented enough to make a difference in the games he plays.

If he has another 8-10 start year, I think it is time to move on from him in 2016. Talent is only as good as how much the talent is available.

Having him as a key cog is actually a detriment if you have to make contingency plans for his injuries each and every year. Even if he is great, he has to be available.

As I said earlier.... Adding Lee back to the lineup is.... in my mind... equivalent to adding an All Pro talent Yo the defense.

If you want to argue over his trophy case you're missing the forest for all the trees.

I agree and I don't see why anyone would not. He'll be 29, this will be his last chance at a full season before we release him. Wishful thinking has me saying we get him for about 13 games or he plays with an injury again like he did in 2011. Realistically? Somewhere from 6-11 games before heading to IR. But he'll be fun to watch in those games.

You almost have to pretend like Lee is not even on this team.

The guy is glass. Play him while you got him but the guy cant get through a walk through without tearing his ACL.

Agree. Talent is great, but he has to stay on the field. I wonder with them looking at Kendricks if they are thinking 2-3 years that Lee may not be on the team if he continues his history of injuries.

The detrimental reliance is a an issue.

No idea what you're talking about but Cruz has a ring and single handily destroyed the Cowboys - in case you needed to be reminded.

Weren't you the one that was ridiculing people for living in the past. 2011 called and wants it's receiver back.

Last time I checked your OL has been humiliated repeatedly over the past two years. :lmao:Beatty starting LT.

Oh and speaking of the past, how did you like it 2 years ago when we traded back, Mara reached like 20th century Jerry Jones for Pugh, and the Jerry got his All Pro center at the end of the round? That was a good day.

Nobody is dissing Lee's ability, but durability is a major consideration in the NFL. If Lee cant make it through an entire season without breaking or tearing something, then its time to move on.

Like Stephen Jones says, "you cant make the club in the tub".

It goes way beyond being realistic about his injuries. If someone brings up Lee in any context the fangs come out and supposed Lee "fans" go for the jugular. It's like they take a perverse joy in being right if he gets injured.

Haha. I've never heard that phrase but it's brilliant.

We need to draft LB even if we resign McClain. LB has been injury plagued for us for years and Lee will be 29 soon. Even if he manages to stay healthy, he's nearing that age.

If Lee makes it that many games we will have another shot at the 2nd place comeback player of the year award!!!

I would love McClain resigned. He played through a lot last year and had a great impact on a historically bad defense. I hope they reward him at least somewhat.

Let it go. This, from a "McClain Groupie":( The writings on the wall.
