Report: Cowboys serious about drafting a quarterback at No. 4

its amazing to me how people say that the Cowboys taking a QB in the first is a bad idea because Tony is here and counts so much against the cap, but it is totally logical for the Eagles to trade into down to take a QB, when they have $18 million invested in Bradford and $7 million invested in Daniels. The Cowboys don't even have a backup.

With the Rams trading with Titans for the #1 overall, the Rams will take either Goff or Wentz (speculation is Wentz), but expect 49ers and Eagles now to get very serious with Cleveland at #2 or San Diego at #3 or possibly both if one wants Lynch or feels they have to get Lynch before Dallas possibly takes him. Worst case, they both trade up and we are stuck with Ramsey as the choice, wow, I could live with that happening.

but no - the writer had inside info. he knew despite all that was said these visits meant sure fire QB was on the way regardless of the fact several other players and positions also "wasted" that visit for a smokescreen...

EDIT: posted this reflexively, didn't mean to pile on. I agree that I don't have any idea what the Eagles think they're doing at QB. I'd have let Bradford walk and given Daniels the chance to start he basically earned in KC, then handicapped him with another vet and a rookie QB.

I take everything Jerry says around draft time, then predict the complete opposite. Then I move sideways 2 steps and take the opposite of that. Then I play reverse-reverse psychology on what JJ has commented on , and then I make my decision about what I think about his comments..............

Yeah, I like Moore, too. I'd love to see him legitimately win a contested QB2 job this season. He's got moxie.

I should also say that Chase Daniels is one of the guys I wanted us to bring in this offseason. I was surprised by how much PHI paid him.

and? Your right Bradford is a backup not a person who could step in within a couple of years and help lead this franchise. If it makes you feel better do not want Bradford or trade any picks for Foles.

I think what he lacks in physical skill he makes up with intelligence much like Colt McCoy. I don't say that as a knock, as a UT fan I loved Colt behind center at UT but it was not hard to see he did not have the arm to make all the throws at this level. Colt however is a smart player and while limited he does not make many bonehead mistakes.
