James Gunn created a series of tweets in his past that ultimately led to his undoing in his present. That said, there is (and usually is in society) a misunderstanding. Definition:

Gunn's past social media messages canned him (now there is irony for a director). Those messages are readily accessible on the internet. However, I have been unsuccessful researching and locating any information reflecting legal investigation(s), indictments, arrests, quotes or testimonies pertaining to alleged meetings, documented illegal images, etc. attributed to Gunn beyond what was archived and re-published from his Twitter account.
Gunn could be 100% guilty of what he is being accused.
Evidence does that in principle. I was not seeking an internet conviction of what Gunn may or may not be though. My hope was a conversation on the impact Gunn's firing would have on the
GOTG franchise and the MCU. It was a personally ignorant expectation.
Unfortunately, the thread is being driven slowly and purposely towards political commentary. The thread was my error. Thankfully, I can chose not to be the catalyst for easily conceivable and exponential stupidity violating the site rule.
