LOL!
Ireland is now paying for his indiscretion.

And for those of you that think Ryan could handle him- that might be true. But how long do you really expect Ryan to be around?
CaptainAmerica;3907134 said:Guy is a knucklehead. If you saw the Georgia game this year he went crazy and an assistant coach had to go out on the field to calm him down before an all out melee ensued.
No way I would touch him and give him top 10 money.

What do you think about Fairley for us?

The Miami Herald disputes a National Football Post report that Nick Fairley skipped a scheduled dinner with Dolphins brass following Auburn's March 8 Pro Day
Per the Herald's Jeff Darlington, the dinner was "optional." Fairley and a fellow prospect couldn't find a hotel, so they drove back to Atlanta. "(Dolphins GM Jeff) Ireland and (coach Tony) Sparano didn't really care," per Darlington. "Should Fairley have tried to attend the dinner? Maybe. But it’s not as simple as just skipping

Seems to me there seems to be a rather concerted effort on the part of someone to play up the alleged character concerns of Fairley and leak it to the press. Likely a team wanting to get best defensive player in the draft (at least on the football field) to fall to them so they can get an elite talent at a baragain.

IMHO, I think there's a bit of a double standard in how Fairley is scrutinized compared to Dareus. Not saying Dareus is going to be a bad football player, but he doesn't seem to be scrutinized to nearly the level of Fairley. If Fairley was taking snaps off, then Dareus must have been taking entire games off because he was rather invisible and nowhere to be seen a good many games. Maybe people let their bias towards Fairley's penchant for trashtalking bleed into their evaluation of his "motor".

For some reason my opinion of Fairley changed..and for the better, which makes no sense lol..
I wasn't sure if he was a fit in a 30 front..but it's hard to pass up on such a talented player if he's there at 9...I also trust Ryan to use exotic fronts to maximize his talents
