I don’t know if it is good news if it is Amazon Prime because they will probably put language like the customers is locked into Amazon prime for the year to get the service and it will be a significant increase like may set up an Amazon Prime basic (what it is now) and premium (live sports and other tv programming included) or getting rid of the pay per year option.

Who knows maybe they just offer a package. either way I'm tired of getting robbed by direct as I have many tvs in the house.

I don’t see how DTV can let the ticket get away. They’ll be decimated. We have it at 2 locations, and the main reason is the sunday ticket. Its already expensive AND you have to get your internet elsewhere.
I can’t wait for them to lose it tbh. I, like you, live in NJ so we don’t get all Boys games and satellite is surprisingly difficult due to congestion of where I’m at. Being able to purchase Sunday ticket for the first time ever will be a massive blessing

i’m in NJ too. Its usually only 3-4 games annually that we don’t get the games locally. I agree- I’m just shocked that DTV would let it get away. They are going to take a beating.

Yeah I agree. I don’t have any neighbors with Direct TV; I never understood how they could afford to keep it….Direct TV must be an out west thing lol

DirecTv is finished. I was with them for 10+ years because I live just outside of the city limits, but thankfully, Spectrum bought off Time Warner Cable 3 years ago... and last year came and spread their lines where I live. I immediately switched to Spectrum who provides me with cable, super fast internet, home phone line and cellphone service all bundled together for a real good price where I now save over $200 dollars/month than what I was paying for all four services before separately from different vendors. Can't beat it. Having super fast internet allowed me to become an Amazon Prime member so I can see this year's Thursday Night Football sponsored by Amazon Prime, plus all the movies and shows they offer as well. If Amazon wins the bid for the NFL Sunday Ticket, it's going to be sweet for Prime members.

i think you’re right. We have Prime too so that would be good. I do have to say, put price aside, DTV is a good product. We’ve had cablevision and FIOS tv and did not like either as much as DTV. But as you said, we’re paying 200 AND still paying another $90 for FIOS internet. Thats brutal. I guess some folks can get their AT&T internet as they are dtv’s parent company, but thats not available for me. We’ll see what happens. On the negative side, I like to be able to record the games and watch at my leisure. Will we be able to watch and pause the games on prime?

Sat/cable is dying anyway. Haven’t had cable in 10 or 12 years. I pay just as much to stream all the same stuff unfortunately but I don’t have to deal with the cable company.

Agree, but reality is AT&T wants no part of it. Another vote for Amazon. PS. Maybe Musk will buy it and stick it on Twitter.

Yes. Amazon Prime offers members the ability to save the game under a "watchlist" so you can watch the game later at a convenient time. Plus, whether watching the game 'live' or later off of your 'watchlist', you can play, pause, rewind, fast forward, plus it gives you options to review a play from a different angle along with added information about the teams, etc. It's pretty cool.
