This will be weird after almost 30 years of directv I can actually threaten to quit and do it this time:flagwave:

FYI.................you dont need direcTV anymore for the NFL package. I bowed out 2 years ago. YoutubeTV is the best option and you can purchase the NFL ticket as an APP on your Smart TV or through Apple TV.

I pay $70/ month for YouTubeTV and you can stream it from a smart TV, Ipad, computer wherever you go. Hotel, AirBNB, friends house, ect....ect........

Then you just have your selected Apps you pay for like Netflix, Prime, NFL Ticket, ect.....ect.....

I do. But I either watch it on my phone at work, where I don't really have time to flip around, or I watch it on my computer at home, where it's obviously easy to go elsewhere during a commercial. But I'm pretty sure if they get this you'll be able to switch from game to game with no issues.

Yes! I watch it on my phone too now, with my TV on in the background.

I don't mean to be off topic here, but we're talking about subscriptions. Is NFL+ and their website aggravating anyone else? I had to delete the NFL APP. completely useless now.

Hopefully the nature of streaming will finally allow some 4k football broadcast. Every tv sold is 4k and Netflix, MLB, Prime have 4k content. The mighty NFL can't get this option for us football nuts.

Is there a way to stream to my TV, instead of watching it on my laptop or phone? Is there a streaming service that doesn't start buffering when the QB releases the ball on third down?
Yea it's ez. Just buy a Chromecast and cast it to the tv. You just need a separate HDMI input port for it.

As an Amazon prime member, this is good news for me. I'm guessing Google will roll it over to their U-Tube outlet. Either way, both are better than Apple IMO.

If you have a chromecast or firestick or a smart TV you should be able to cast to your TV from your smartphone. My nephew does this using the Dofu Sports app.

I have a smart TV, but I don't think I can stream anything that isn't already built in to it. Honestly, I haven't really looked into it yet. I should do that. lol

Unless they have changed their stance, the NFL has already stated the product will not be discounted heavily for customers as it wasn't by DirecTV until they decided to let it go, then they just started giving it away. I got the last 2 seasons for free.
