This will be weird after almost 30 years of directv I can actually threaten to quit and do it this time

This is a huge bummer for me since I haven't paid for Sunday Ticket in like five years. I've gotten in free for that long with a sob story (though real) that they buy every year.I don’t see how DTV can let the ticket get away. They’ll be decimated. We have it at 2 locations, and the main reason is the sunday ticket. Its already expensive AND you have to get your internet elsewhere.
I can't wait to see what directv is going to offer when a 3rd of their base tries to quit in January lolI gave up Dtv 3 years ago and have had zero issues watching for free online...... 4 games at a time using firesticks.
This really signals a shift in our TV viewing and where it is coming from. Two internet behemoths are taking over TV in the near future. Surprised Netflix didnt get involved.
no thanks. I don’t need a game blacked out because someone hurt his little feelings. Lol
I watch, and it would be nice to flip from Prime to DirectTV easily. Now, I would have to change from HTML2 back to HTML1. Then there would be the normal wait to switch back. I just keep it on the channel until I through watching the game, which is getting earlier and earlier because the games have been less-than-competitive.Does anyone watch Thursday Night Football on Prime? I really dislike it because when I watch football I flip channels during commercial breaks. I can't really do that when I watch Thursday Night Football because I get Prime through Roku and switching streaming services or flipping back to FiOS is a process. If they get the deal, the need to make sure viewers can flip from game to game easily at the very least.
As an Amazon prime member, this is good news for me. I'm guessing Google will roll it over to their U-Tube outlet. Either way, both are better than Apple IMO.

My dream: Amazon puts Walmart outta business one day soon. Won't happen, but one can dreamI hope Amazon wins the bid and offers it for free or at a low price for Amazon Prime members.
There's probably some fine print in invisible ink that penalizes customers in perpetuity for early withdrawal of a secret 20 year contract.I can't wait to see what directv is going to offer when a 3rd of their base tries to quit in January lol

Wow Amazon came out of the blue…didn’t think they were in it but good to see.
Really hope it’s setup so you can do pay by single games

Is there a way to stream to my TV, instead of watching it on my laptop or phone? Is there a streaming service that doesn't start buffering when the QB releases the ball on third down?People still pay for NFL games? There are so many sites where you can stream for free why pay?

No, the Ticket will be an option like before. Most people won't want it.I don’t know if it is good news if it is Amazon Prime because they will probably put language like the customers is locked into Amazon prime for the year to get the service and it will be a significant increase like may set up an Amazon Prime basic (what it is now) and premium (live sports and other tv programming included) or getting rid of the pay per year option.
