I knew it was too good to be true when I read that Stewy got canned and Jason was the next one out.

Maybe his princeton smarts will help him improve on his 18th ranked offense.

So we either get rid of Garrett or we get rid of the guy that has turned the NYG's defense into a monster. I'll take those options.

******.

I have to give these teams credit though, for hiring succesful coaches and not the mastermind of an 18th ranked offense.

I'm really unhappy about this. I just want Shanny as our HC. I don't believe anything will happen now at the HC position.

Was nice having hope for a night.

Bittersweet.

The worst part is that this all but guarantees more of the same and that means more mediocrity from Wade Phillips.

Yeah, if we're lucky he'll achieve mediocre again.

thats funny I would be willing to bet atlanta is pretty happy with their new head coach, you know the guy that ran the 12th ranked defense in 07 after he ran the 2nd ranked defense in 06.

isnt it funny how you cant judge a coordinator by statistics and then apply them to how he would be as a Head Coach.

and to use any stats when Brad Johnson was QB is kind of dumb. Take Johnson out of the equation and we rank as a top 10 offense last year in ppg and ypg

maybe our unmotivated overpaid offensive players will actually put in some practice time this yr

...........AND the roller coaster continues. I'd kind of like to see this guy earn his money, stay and succeed. Sure won't happen if alot of things don't change. BUT....one can dream I guess.

So, more of the same and a less talented team. Can't beat that kind of "change".

And maybe our clueless offensive coordinator will throw out speed option and shotgun slipscreen from his short yardage playlist. Probably not though.

The way I look at it is assuming that Garrett returns as OC,

We STILL got rid of Stewart and Read.

As long as we replace Stewart with someone better qualified, we're still coming out ahead.

Changes HAVE been made, and I'm sure more changes will be made.

So far, JJ and Wade have been true to their word.

At least there will be some accountability with the coaching staff going into next season.

Next step is to gain accountability with underperforming players.
