He's destroyed the defense with the scout team as support, I'm sure he'd be licking his chops to play against the defense.

“According to two NFL sources, quarterback Tony Romo would like to play for a team that faces the Cowboys next season,” Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reported on Wednesday. “That means Kansas City, Denver, Arizona or Washington would likely be the landing spots for him depending on what happens.”

Seems like a clever twist of the facts to generate clicks.

I suspect they were lead to believe through speculation and/or sources that Tony would be interested in playing for Kansas City, Denver & Arizona and then realized these teams play Dallas in 2017, so the headline changed to one that was more provocative, then they decided to add a little twist (likely pulled from their backside) by throwing Washington into the mix.

I'd make a large wager that Romo never said "I want to play for a team that plays Dallas in 2017"

Love Tony, but let me apologize in advance if we play against him that love will not be on display. I hope we crush whomever it may be. I dont fault Tony one bit though if he actually does want to go up against Dallas and prove himself one last time.

I figured he would. Wants to prove he still can play at the top of his game against the team that went 13-3 without him in his last season as a cowboy

I think its clear Im a Dak guy but the unfortunate events thats sent Romo packing makes it understandable how he feels as would we all.
When we play him however he is the enemy that must be sacked.

Roy (Oklahoma) Williams injured Emmitt when the Cowboys faced AZ, IIRC.

Sounds like a stick it to JG to me. Jerry signs the checks and everyone loves Jerry. TO still loves Jerry for crying out loud!

fix this front 4 and we can make it quite hard on romo. not saying he cant beat us,
but i like our chances. it would be so epic, romo coming back to dallas to face dak and company.

If KC could upgrade their OL at the same time, Romo makes them a contender. The problem is they have a couple key pieces they need to re-sign on D and not much cap room. A FA QB like Romo would be a hard fit

Well, Buffalo it is then. I don't want to see Tony next year or really, any year. Not because I don't believe we can win but because I don't want to see us lose to Tony and I have no desire to see us beat him either.

Screw that, If we play against him then i hope we beat him badly. Maverick fans loved Steve Nash until the Suns ran the Mavs off the court.

I don't believe the story. However, I bet every QB wants to face our defense. It's lacking talent and one of the easiest to figure out. I hope this changes and we really focus on defense in free agency and draft. Scheme will stay same.

Would he? A given? I think it's safe to say we know where to upgrade. We'll get better on defense, no doubt. This won't be this season's defense.

Even if it is.....we were one of the best teams in the league against the pass this season. Aaron Rodgers just did what Aaron Rodgers does against most NFL defenses and it took us almost a half to adjust.

Opposing quarterbacks were generally efficient against our pass defense but they didn't "light us up".

All the crap some of our fans throw on our defense is just looking for a scapegoat. If you take the same exact unit, add a pass rusher opposing defenses fear and another athletic, versatile linebacker and our defense would be a top 10 unit.
