You’re playing the what if game. Not me.

IF Dak doesn’t convert that. They cowboys lose. Regardless of all of those stats you said earlier. It’s like yall just aren’t capable of objective thought when we speak about the QB of this team.

I made the point that we don't score 40 without the turnovers. It's not a what if, it's a fact that 20 of our points came off turnovers. Facts don't care who the qb was.

I think our biggest red zone issue is the offensive line is banged up. We have a 3rd stringer in at LT. I want to see what our offense does with a healthy offensive line. Hopefully after the bye everyone gets and stays healthy.
I think it will help, but I still think play design and personnel grouping needs improvement.
for example last week, the interception play. cook, is running across the end zone, not all the way in the back, but halfway. that play would have been better with Gallup or Lamb, running at the back end of the endzone, taller target and then create space so the throw can go over the top. and then the other 4 recievers were bunched. 2 on one side. 2 on the other. that play had no chance.

and then why have Deuce blocking a LB? just because the play design called for the RB to block? then get a different guy in there or don't call that play.

Can this defense be lights out against the 49ers? I think the big thing is not allowing YAC. The niners strive on that. I think we can win if we can al least slow down the run and eliminate most the YAC. What we really need is the STs to make anther big play. Tolbert's play pretty much changed the momentum. We're going to need some of that next week. I really want to see Purdy play from behind. To my knowledge he hasn't played from behind very much. The big question tho is can our defense get TOs next week. If we get TOs and the offense doesn't turn it over then we can win.
the key is to contain their running game and it comes at you from all angles with McCaffrey who can run inside or outside. has speed. tough to contain. then Deebo. and they keep chiping away at it. our run D has to be very disciplined next week. stop the run game. if Purdy beats us. then he beats us, but we can't allow the run game do it.
