When has Jerry let a top player walk? He will take care of Miles.
Ken Norton Jr. Thank God Jerry has learned his lesson and it hasn't happened since.

Ken Norton was one of many great players Jerry had to deal with. Irvin became the highest paid WR, Emmitt was looking at being the highest paid RB and of course Troy was making quite a bit as one of the highest paid in the league. With FA just getting underway along with the cap right at the time this team was turning into a power house made it impossible to take care of all of them. Today now that the cap has been around I think it is a bit easier to work the cap than what it was when it 1st came into being especially for a group that the Cowboys were in the early 90's.

I'd say George Teague filled in quite well...

Marion was much better but there was so many holes on our team, and Jones was stuck with a lot of dead money he didn't really have the choice.

That was Jimmy's decision and philosophy. He thought LBs were replaceable and cap room should be used on other positions.

Rumor has it Austin will be let go.

Jerry is gonna sign a rejuvenated Keyshawn Johnson and he is also eyeing Chris Carter

With one or both of those guys on board, Austin won't be needed.

Jerry, he is a smart one.

Not to mention Jerry is also considering a trade for Joey Galloway...why anyone would think Jerry would even try to keep Austin is beyond me.

Why are people so worried about Jerry re-signing anyone? His history of overpaying players should allow you to breathe easy. I'm not saying he'll overpay for Austin however I have no doubt he'll get paid nicely.

you don't even "stir the pot" well. Look at how little controversy you have generated. If you are "stirring the pot" you need to generate 200+ post threads and be committed to taking a stab at a decent argument.

you need to sit back, watch some of the masters at stirring the pot and come back when have some game b/c right now your game wouldn't even play on some lame *** ESPN board.
