If the Bears hold on our starting lineup next week needs to be:

WR: Hurd, Austin, Stanback and Glenn
RB: Thompson and Crockett
TE: Curtis
OT: Marten and Free
OG: Berger and McQ
C: Procter
QB: Johnson

DE: Bowen and Hatcher
NT: Tank
LB: Spencer, Carpenter, Rogers and Burnett
CB: Ball, Oglesby, Reeves
S: Brown and Davis

:laugh2:

I Agree. The rash of injuries have been horrendous, especially TO's. What's the status on his injury? Anyone?

Per NFLN, out two weeks.

He should be ready by our playoff game.

I'd like to see Glen, hopefully, and Stanback get some reps with Romo. Some more reps for Austin would be nice, too.
And, just on principle, I hate seeing anything that helps the 'skins beat Dallas and gives them a chance to get into the playoffs.

The healthy starters will play at least a half. If they sit out 2 weeks, rust becomes an issue.

I would rest anyone with any issues even minor.

Sit Romo just in case.

You trying to get Johnson killed or what? :laugh2:

True but players like Newman, Gurode, Watkins and anyone else who has even been slightly dinged in the last 2 weeks can sit.

I was thinking at least the 1st quarter and part of the 2nd quarter.

Be hilarious if we beat the Commanders with nothing but backups.

Yeah. I would sit TNew for sure though. Also, work Julius a lot more and give Barber some time off.

I'd let Barber get his 1000th and rest him.

Yes it would. But it's nice that I can watch that game an not give a damn -- sort of.

The "rust" issue is a non-issue to be honest.

I want to see some of young guys get some serious PT.

The young WRs, Carp, Burnett, Ball, Brown, Marten...

I'd like to see some of Bartel.

This is the right approach. I really hope everyone with even a hangnail just shows up in the training room this week and most of next. We need health. And Romo should put a wrap on that thumb and not touch a football for 2 weeks. That gives him a week to get ready for the playoff opponent once we know who it is.

We go only as far as Romo carries us, he needs to be as close to 100% healthy as possible.

I would like to see Ware, Henry, Newman, Gurode, Romo, Watkins, Ratliff and Witten all sit out the game.
