how many times did Dak throw last year against Tampa? How many runs did Dak check out of then? So now it’s a problem?

So basically RG3 is saying Dak sucks against zone and has been getting away with man on man matchups his whole career here. You know the man-heavy TB was showing last year?

How about Dak not go down 19-3 in the first game, despite the Cowboys rushing it 14 times by the first series of the third, meaning a whole half to go, so they don’t abandon the run?

I think it's an old Habit that He just can't break . . . He has been doing it the last 3 years when He needed to pad His stats in order to get paid . . . Now He thinks He "Sees" things in the defense that can make Him the Hero . . . "The one who makes the play" . . .

Badda Bing . . . Badda Boom . . . Another Drive killed and the Cowboys are done by Double digits . . . Now The "Game Plan" is abandoned the running game is scraped. . . . The RB's are reduced to extra blockers because Dak sucks under pressure . . . No worries The Game is not a Total Lost . . . . Dak Fans are excited because all though the Cowboys will lose.
. . Dak is ready to "Eat" with Stats galore
If that were true there would be no need for McCarthy to step in and tell the boy wizard to run the ball would there?

Yes.

Instead of arguing of who the QB should be we should only concern ourselves with winning.

We have a thread going literally right now trying to dog Rush over a completed pass for a 1st down on 4th down! You don't have Hawkeye over there calling that person "childish" though. Tell me that's not having an agenda.

I strongly believe we have a few among us that would rather lose with Dak than win with Rush.
Its blatantly obvious . . . We live in a Delusional egotistical self Centered Mentally limited Society

And Everyone componds their delusional by doubling down and throwing blame every where but where it belongs

Egotistic ignorant fools are a danger to Reality

It most definitely should. Balance will always make the team better. Just need to do it for more then the first 10 plays. We need to stop trying to be cute as well.

But I thought this was Dak’s offense and Moore doesn’t call run plays? Maybe our QB is just low-IQ and a 1 read QB?

I’ll say that he doesn’t always see the field well, but he was leading the league in passing or close for a while so he’s at least good.

Again, this is what happened when they added Amari Cooper and Amari started yelling at Cooper to throw him the ball in the Eagles game because CBs were sitting on their routes with no safety help:

Having Cooper as a weapon against man defenses has improved the entire offense, as Prescott’s game has been elevated to new heights against man defenses, including a 48-point jump in IQR.

Comp % Y/A TD INT IQR
Pre Amari 52% 6.2 3 3 71
With Amari 61% 8.8 8 1 119

Despite this massive jump in production against man defense, Prescott has not had nearly as much success against a zone defense and his IQR has dropped from 100 to 84 with Cooper on the roster. Though he has an 80 percent completion percentage versus zones, it’s almost entirely short-pass based. He has no touchdowns and two interceptions on 91 attempts.

This mediocrity doesn’t challenge zones. He takes the check-down all the time, which is why his INT percentage is also so low. If you throw out the garbage prevent, the guy is a 1 DIMENSIONAL passing QB.

This man has been getting away with the best OL and RG in the league his whole career, because teams were brining an extra man in the box. As teams figured they don’t need to dedicate that many resources anymore, Dak got and is getting exposed.

Dak checking out of 12 run plays while having no idea how to read a defense is comical.

They should not allow him to call audibles at the line.

Look at how the excuses keep flip-flopping. Last year against Tampa, he supposedly took the next step. Of course it showed people were clueless, because Tampa runs HEAVY MAN and were aggressive in their blitzing and Zeke was STONE WALLING the extra rusher, while the OL did its job. They weren’t shadowing any help on the side of Amari and playing off him.

It was a stupid strategy considering Dallas personnel.

By the Denver game, who could get adequate pressure rushing 4, teams began to not bother dedicating so many resources. They’d just show man and drop into zone.

Let K. Moore call the same game plan for Dak that he called for Rush, and we will have success. Rush made some throws that Dak isn't currently willing to take a chance a throwing, but he need to.

With that said, Moore calls a complete game with more running plays to keep the defense guessing, Dak can do his thing. We don't have the receiving corp for 100 passing attempts a game.
That lack of confidence in making some throws you mention - apparent to you, me, and most of the rest of us - is surely apparent to the D coordinators when they put together their game plan and will have an affect on how Moore calls the game.

Balance is the key but it does take a lot more than just calling the plays to achieve that balance.

They can deny these things all they want, but if they actually cared about this team going places they would see that QB is a weak link for us.

This scripted play thing is not as true as many want to believe.

Sure they may go into the game with a good idea on how they want to attack a defense but the only way you can stick to a "scripted" ten play opening drive is if every play works the way you expect it to. One penalty, one dropped ball, one sack.... and the down/distance forces you to throw the script out the window.

The run game also gets scrapped when we lead the league in penalties as well. Dak has to improve in some areas, but its not his fault when the offense starts off at 1st and 20 and 2nd and 15 every other possession. Thats alot to ask for any quarterback.

That's true, I'm just saying they have a set of plays they've worked on during the week of game prep. Things happen and can make it change, with us I think we stick to the script just because that's how we made it. So if we're doing good in the run, and a 7 man screen pass is called, it's getting run!!
