How is it not discussed that Dallas trades a pick for Richard Sherman..

Today it was reported NE just bailed on negotiations.

If Dallas could trade a pick in next years draft, I say lets go do it. This team could make a real run if we have significant improvement on the defensive side of the ball.

I read somewhere that Dallas should trade their 1st round pick for Sherman...

I thought "Are you out of your mind?"

For 29yo CB who's clearly on the downside of his career and carries a hefty pay package?

No way.

He's still a good corner but he's not a top-3 guy anymore. He's at the age where regression will start becoming more prevalent, not less.

I don't think he's some kind of cancer, just a little outspoken. I have no problem with the dude, but wouldn't give up anything resembling decent draft pick compensation for the guy. Plus his base salary is $11 million the next two seasons. Not sure he's that level of corner anymore.

again, this is being pushed by a few guys in the media but it's a long shot.
RS is scheduled to make 11m this year alone and is owed 22,5 m over 2 on this contract.
he'd gladly extend and renegotiate provided we guaranteed that 22,5m.....

there is a reason seattle is begging teams to trade for him.
dallas could have had Carr AND Mo for 11m this year and passed.
before the draft they have a top 3 CB of :
OScan
Nolan Carroll
Anthony Brown.

That's not great but it's very affordable and we still have the draft.
