NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has reinstated Dolphins RB Ricky Williams after a suspension of 18 months for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Williams filed for reinstatement Oct. 1.

30 years old and has been in and out of football for a while and has never shown the passion to play at this level.

Queue the "we should try and get him" posts (despite the fact that we can't unless he's released) in 3...2...1...

What are we waiting for? Why haven't we signed him yet?

BTW, what's Jerramy Stevens doing these days? Can you imagine him, Ricky, T.O., and Chad Johnson together? We'd never have to punt again.

We should get this guy!

Meaning, I should pick him up in my fantasy league, yes!

I'll take Barber over Williams any day of the week. At least I know Barber will be ready each and every week and give you everything he has got.

I heard he can still smoke opposing defenses.

But then again, there isn't much he won't smoke. :laugh2:

He just needs to remember to bring his smoking jacket

I would not doubt Miami will use Williams this season with Brown being out.

doesn't he still owe the dolphins some cash too?

I hope he plays lights out and lands a semi decent contract next season.

I actually wouldn't be completely turned off with him as a back up RB here.

I don't care about Williams anymore and would not want him on the team. I'll take Marion Barber over that over rated jerk any day of the week.

No thank you. :banghead:

With some teams having injuries and not having a good running game, Williams will get some interest and wouldn't be surprised if a team signs him up.
