Not that I necessarily would call Fasano and Bennett complete failures because they went on to decent careers. However, they clearly failed in Dallas for whatever reason.

I would call Fasano a failure given his draft position. He never amounted to anything more than an average TE for the Dolphins and should've never been drafted that high in the first place. But Miami did get much more out of him than we did, which is why I expect Escobar to be an average TE on some other team next year. As far as Bennett goes, he's an absolute freak of a talent and was definitely worth the 2nd round pick. We also managed to screw that up. But he did have issues everywhere he went. So did a lot of diva receivers though. Bennett was a freak though. It's a shame we couldn't make anything out of him, but we should've never drafted a personality like his in the first place since we're not a team capable of handling it.
