Rico Gathers: "From Rebounds to Touchdowns"

I could just barely make out some of the convo at the beginning of the vid, but it sounds like they were lamenting the uncalled foul on Witten near the end zone. The other guy said "they wanted Green Bay to win that game." Rico said he is seeing that things are rigged and suggested last year's Super Bowl was rigged. Not sure why he included this part lol.

He also said Witten was crying his eyes out.:(

Dez looked like he was attending a funeral.:(

Hanna is locked up 2 more years. He'll be there.

I see, I still don't think he is a lock by any stretch and I hope the team isn't going to hand a roster spot to a player like that. We get 1.5 million savings to cut him, a rookie will likely make less than that. He's not going to be a roster lock.

That's why I'm glad he emphasized that's what Witten preached to him.

I'm most excited to see him and Jaylon next season.

Me too. IF Rico is mentally right and Jaylon is physically right, it will be like getting a solid mid rounder (Rico) and dynamic 1st rounder (Jaylon) in this year's draft. Leaves us with a heave Defensive laden draft and hopefully signing a safety (Berry?) and maybe a swing tackle in free agency

I'm NOT proud to admit it, but I turned it off as soon as the FG was good....

Hell, he said it in the video that he has the hands. Just needs to learn the game.
I gotta think he should have it by next year. What is that, two years of doing nothing but study and practice and learn? Even if you've never played before, I gotta think you'll know your responsibilities by then.

Not that I necessarily would call Fasano and Bennett complete failures because they went on to decent careers. However, they clearly failed in Dallas for whatever reason.
We didn't use them, is the reason.

I don't think we're going to get as lucky this off season if the front office decides to put him on the practice squad. You have to give this man a roster spot. I'm 100% OK with cutting Escobar for Rico.
They will absolutely not take a chance with him on the practice squad this year... he'll be on the 53 or he'll be gone.

Did he have microfracture surgery?

I saw some speculation but nothing definitive.

James Hanna is a solid blocker but brings next to nothing as a receiver. He's too one dimensional.

I hope he recovers from whatever it is, but I like Geoff Swaim better as the second TE.
Yup. Swaim > Hanna

You and 99% of all Cowboys fans. Unfortunately, I left it on just long enough after the FG to catch a glimpse of Rogers jumping up and down and celebrating with other Packers.

Did you read anything about that recently? I don't remember seeing anything since before Thanksgivingish maybe. Hope he isn't done.

Just some speculation among various people covering the team. But the fact that he missed an entire season sure doesn't bode well.

The team paid him $3.25 million in 2016 and got absolutely nothing in return. Regardless of health, I see the team looking to get out of that deal this year. They'll save $1.5 million if they do.

Hmmm... our criteria is often an injured first round hopeful that slips because of an injury.

I'm calling it now that we will draft Jake Butt, the TE from Michigan, in the second round.
I don't know. Rumor is he has been spending time with Anthony Weiners younger sister.
Not sure if he will be wearing cowboys colors at the Weiner N Butt wedding.
