this is what i am thinking also.
i dont see any advantage by cowboys continuing to claim he is injured.
he is already on ir.
I work in a world class Academic Medical Center and asked our Chair of Neurosurgery if in fact Rico could still be having symptoms related to a concussion that took place more than a month and a half ago. He said he deals with similar symptoms with numerous patients who have been concussed. I don't think this bodes well for Rico. If I were him I would not be rushing back to play a sport where I could suffer permanent brain damage. I love the idea that he was going to be a beast of a tight end with soft hands and size and strength to run over DBs and Safeties.

I haven't taken time to look through the whole thread but I get the sneaky suspicion Rico's probably okay and this was the way we kept a roster spot for him.

Quick story....

I had a mild concussion a couple of years back, was working at a job site and a steel support leg (a steel beam about a foot long) fell from the 3rd floor of the building site and landed on my head. Put a giant dent on the top of my hard hat and gave me a mild concussion. I had headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, and nausea for about 3 days and then they slowly started going away. After about a week, I was totally symptom free and the company doctor cleared me to go back to work. He said if I was not wearing my hard hat that I probably would not be here right now...............valuable lesson guys, wear yall's hard hats!!!

I always wear a helmet!
