Lassiameuereerere? He played good in reserve.

I don't get what happend to our front line on D. Stafford had ALL DAY sometimes.

Yeah, the blitz was pretty weak today.

Are you ready to write off the next 4 to 5 years? It will take that long to bring a rookie to the level necessary to compete - yes, even Luck. Then, we won't be so young anymore...

Tell that to the panthers, Falcons, Ravens, Bucs, Lions

Its time to give up on the Romo Era. The kid just looks for ways to lose. Id give 2 first rounders and a Romo for Andrew Luck. He is that good.

What good is a "real offensive coordinator" going to do? The only person that can keep Romo from making impulse decisions/throws is Tony Romo. Quite frankly, he is what he is. He, without a doubt, is his idol, Brett Favre, without the playoff success.

A coordinator with desire and commitment to the ground game would do him wonders. Tony has the weight of the team on him thanks to coach tecmo.

You act like 31 is old for a qb. The guy hasnt had any serious injuries. He'd have alot of value.

It's old for a QB who makes the kind of mistakes he does. If you think he has such value why would you want to trade? I'm sorry but other teams are seeing the same thing we are and if you think any of them will mortgage their future on Romo you're nuts.

:laugh2: that guy dissappeared from the thread quickly after getting called out.

Hey ******bag I am going out with my wife sorry I can't sit in front of my Computer and CRY over QB's. I am sure you will find a few pictures and a box of tissues to satisfy your "taste" of RG3

Our corners cover better when there is more pressure from the front line. That didn't happen today. I saw us playing a LOT of coverage w/ our backers, more than usual.

Losing Sensy late didn't help AT all. Hope he gets back soon. We need him.

On the blitzes we did do, we were stuffed.

I think its time for the cowboys to move on from Romo but the problem is, Jerry Jones....He just reworked Romo's deal so to get rid of him now would be a major cap hit...I'm already resolved to the fact Dallas will never win a superbowl with Romo at the helm, so I'm now content with mediocre quarterback play for the next two or three years until Jerry will finally gets it in his thick skull that Romo needs to go, it will take that long, but until that time comes, Jerry will stand there, just like a fool that he is today after the game and say Dallas goes as Romo goes...how stupid can jerry be??

Yes, lets saddle a rookie with being our only hope on offense. Brilliant.

The Patriots last week, up 21 on the Bills, Tom Brady throws 4 INTs and the Bills win.

Pick a team any team. If you're going to attempt to call me out, at least be wise about it.
This seems to be the trend league wide.

Going into the Jets/Ravens game, There have been 12 comebacks from double digit deficits in the first four weeks. It seems (I say seems because I could be wrong) that this is happening with greater regularity across the league.

20 point leads are like mere trifles on the way to a comeback this season.

I guess this is what happens when you have such a passing centric league these days.

It seemed we stop blitzing. We need hatcher back asap.

........after reading ALL these posts I finally find the one sane voice about the defense: Hatcher was a GIGANTIC loss today. No WAY on God's green earth does Detroit come back if he's out there. I just watched it on DVR and Spears was the invisible man. Hatch being out along with Scandrick killed us. Add Miles and it isn't even close. Coulda, woulda, sure as hell shoulda: story of Romo's( and this team under him) life.:bang2:

Dallas is up 27-3, what weight is on his shoulders???

Honestly I would trade him as well... I want a young QB like RGIII or Luck.

Luck, you'll need lots of it if that's your plan.

The NFL just doesn't work that way anymore. So many college teams run pro style offenses now. It doesn't take years to adjust, you can be an effect QB in year one and a very, very good player by year 2.

Because he's labeled a franchise QB. Theres always teams willing to spend on established QBs. Especially ones who throw for 4000 yrds and 30 tds

Yes, which is why no team would be stupid enough to take the trade.

If you wanted Luck, you should have cheered for Wade to finish the season and for Dallas to have finished 1-15 last year. Guaranteed Luck would have came out for the chance to be a Dallas Cowboy.

I'm in no mood to defend Romo, Garrett, or even the Cowboys as a whole for that matter right now...But I will say that I think the response and the reaction has been overblown. Brady threw 4 ints last week and hardly a word was said. Yes, he's also won 3 SB's but that doesn't take away the fact that he lost a very winnable game for his team against Buffalo, just as Romo did today.

Good QB's have bad games sometimes. And Romo still has far more good games then bad ones. He's still the same QB that led us to a comeback win with broken ribs and grinded it out last week against the skins when everything around him was falling apart...Does anyone remember that guy?

Also, how much time was left in the 3rd when the first pick six was thrown?

I'm thinking if we ran the ball on every down for the rest of the game, assuming we get a 1st down on every other series (This is what I consider a worst case) I wonder how much time we can take off the clock.

I'd say about 5-7 seconds per each play
Then you have to factor in the play clock at 40 seconds.

So on a series where you run 3 times, we can say, worst case, 135 seconds off the game. So that's two minutes and 15 seconds. This doesn't account for the fact that we're going to assume the Lions get a TD on each of their following drives. Let's just use a random number, say 3:00 for them to get a TD on each drive. At being down 27-3 this means they need 3 TD's and a FG for the tie. Let's just go with the 3 TD's for now.

3 minutes for a Lion TD drive.
2:15 for a 3 and out run call by us.
5:15 in total time.
Repeat that 2 more times.
5:15
5:15

Total: 15:45. In a scenario where we can assume the Lions get a TD in 3:00 drives each time and assuming we go 3 and out each time, you'd be looking at over an entire quarter worth of play to come within a FG.
