I am not of the opinion that the combine should make or break the draft stock of these young men but let's be honest it is a part of the puzzle.
In some cases alerts scouts/personnel guys to revisit tape to see if they missed something.
In some cases it highlights the difference between field speed and track speed. Some guys put the pads on and run just as fast where some guts put them on and drag their heels.
Some red flags are raised like with Orlando Brown. Decent tape. Obvious terrible work ethic.

Having said that who helped themselves so far and who has to have a great pro day to make up for a bad combine?

I will kick it off, at least OL
Hernandez up
Brown down

Heres the catch with Brown,, IMO personally , I don't care so much with what a guard prospect runs int the 40.
What if his stock falls significantly because of his poor combine 40?
What if Brown is still sitting there at the 50?
He apparently is not and will never be a pulling guard, but prior to the combine, Brown proved to hold his ground and win his battles,
Its obvious now that he sucks a at running the 40.
How many other teams value that 40 time, and drop him in their rankings because of that.
How far will Brown drop in the draft is the question.
He might be the steal, because he runs like a srt8 up dork pulling a lead sled,,,
Just check out his film when he is mauling defenders at the point of attack,,, totally different then his embarrassing and insignificant 40 style and time.
He will drop because of it.

Brown is an OT

Moore, Chark, Callaway, St. Brown big risers

Orlanda Brown is the big faller so far. Sadly Maurice Hurst will take a hit to his stock as well.

Being 6-8 is not ideal at Guard. Even for guys that have done it, it's tiring to keep their knees bent and pads reasonably low.

He's an OT, but no drafted player has run that slow in 15 years (maybe longer).

Gogan was "over sized" as well. Not saying I really want to target the kid, just talking value if he were to slip a bit, which he probably will.

Vea approaching God Tier with 41 reps of 225
tomorrow he will run a 4.4 40 and dare anyone to call him a liar

ya,, 3 months ago we thought Vea would be available, but every day since then he seems to have slowly crept out of reach.
I expect the big man to go in the top 14, but probably higher after todays combine.
