I am not of the opinion that the combine should make or break the draft stock of these young men but let's be honest it is a part of the puzzle.
In some cases alerts scouts/personnel guys to revisit tape to see if they missed something.
In some cases it highlights the difference between field speed and track speed. Some guys put the pads on and run just as fast where some guts put them on and drag their heels.
Some red flags are raised like with Orlando Brown. Decent tape. Obvious terrible work ethic.
Having said that who helped themselves so far and who has to have a great pro day to make up for a bad combine?
