Risers/ fallers

Per PFF:

Harold Landry’s 6.88-second 3-cone at 252-pounds puts him in rarified air for top prospects. Below is every single 250-plus pound defensive lineman drafted in the first round that had a sub-6.9-second 3-cone:

  • DeMarcus Ware
  • J.J. Watt
  • David Pollack
  • Melvin Ingram
  • Joey Bosa
  • T.J. Watt
That is some impressive company. With the exception of Pollack, whose career was cut short due to injury, and T.J. Watt, whose only played one year in the league, every single other player on the list has been All-Pro caliber at some point in their career.

Being a buckeye fan, i have seen Gesicki quite a bit since I watch a lot of big ten. He was on my radar.

Gesicki was a 4* out of HS, highly recruited by Urban and Bill O'Brien, then eventually James Franklin. It was REALLY close (PSU vs OSU for his services). Great TE prospect since the day he walked on campus in 2014.

you've been talking about this man going back to our old place(DC forums).
I would LOVE it if he is the pick at 19.
He seems ideal for a 3-4 team but I think would make himself at home in a 4-3.
Be kinda cool to have a Landry around the place again.

i hope the cowboys are considering him. I am a big fan of him. It will depend how the draft goes, also this TE class is deep if they go another direction.

No one’s stock may have taken a bigger hit than hurst
A heart issue is gonna scare lots of teams
To me reps on the bench in itself are not a big thing. You can make a guy stronger. It does show a lack of commitment in the weight room tough and being slow as a turtle on top of that will hurt him I think

How far does Hurst fall is real question.

I just think teams are severely undervaluing how good he is due to batting injury last year.

I think he could be a better pro than Chubb.
