Risers/ fallers

I'd be more than happy to take him as a RE.

He's about the same size as Lawrence was as a prospect but a better athlete.
He's a freak. But it will take two - three years so he can be something more than a phase rushing specialist, right? So not someone I could take at 19 for a 4/3.

Another WR that ran a bit better than expected. A WR I have liked for some time... Allen Lazard riser

Most REs take time to get better against the run but not 2/3 years for him.

I'd absolutely take him at 19.

For me, no question. Gesicki. I don't think anyone expected him to show out like that. Chark was surprising, but not like that.

Being a buckeye fan, i have seen Gesicki quite a bit since I watch a lot of big ten. He was on my radar.

I will kick it off, at least OL
Hernandez up
Brown down

Heres the catch with Brown,, IMO personally , I don't care so much with what a guard prospect runs int the 40.
What if his stock falls significantly because of his poor combine 40?
What if Brown is still sitting there at the 50?
He apparently is not and will never be a pulling guard, but prior to the combine, Brown proved to hold his ground and win his battles,
Its obvious now that he sucks a at running the 40.
How many other teams value that 40 time, and drop him in their rankings because of that.
How far will Brown drop in the draft is the question.
He might be the steal, because he runs like a srt8 up dork pulling a lead sled,,,
Just check out his film when he is mauling defenders at the point of attack,,, totally different then his embarrassing and insignificant 40 style and time.
He will drop because of it.

If you watched him in the positional drills it was embarrassing. He looked like an movie extra impersonating a football player.

He’s be off my board entirely as you’d get no production out of him early because he has to rebuild his body to be able to contend with grown men that are professionals. His technique is crap so you’d have to train him up. He’s built like an 8th grade boy.

Better athlete than football player.
Pass
I agree. As we were talking about development of a tweener end, I was curious as to your thoughts about Bryan as a developmental player. My thinking is that he can be part of your rotation (but providing more snaps than Landry) while he develops. He shows a lot of great attributes to work with.

Bryan would be a great pick in the 2nd just not in the 1st for me.

Why are you thinking he'd get more snaps than Landry?

I think it'd be pretty even.

Yes, I was not implying first. Should have stated that.

Bryan should be rotating at the 3T as well as some at End. So, he could be on the field on any down. Landry would seem to be only on passing downs until he proves he can hold the edge which is the part that i think will take time plus bulking up.
