RJ and Shan: Don't shut the door on Breece Hall

I like Hall, but I think they're fine at RB now. If they have one more shot to fire, I'd rather its on a Corner or DT1. Maybe a quality LT as a safety net.

Probably an overreaction by him and Stephen to all the criticism and jabs they took after the “all in” comments.
Fully agree with that. Said it yesterday.

I have no problem improving the team but I just don’t think the rest of the roster is to where they should be trading premium picks for a rental skill player. Not yet.

Some want to build a perennial winner, some are only interested in winning as many games as possible next season. The age of instant gratification.

They still aren’t sniffing the SB and the same people are going to be wanting that draft pick when the time comes. It wouldn’t be so bad if the draft wasn’t essentially the only way they add players.

If Jerry traded a third for a DT that we could potentially keep, I’d be doing backflips and applauding….but nah he doesn’t think you win with those.

If nothing else, I have NO idea how anyone thinks saddling this rookie HC with a documented malcontent who probably won’t get enough targets is a good idea.

Also irritates me that he is willing to do whatever to keep his head above water, but when the time is right to add final pieces to a roster that has a decent shot, he sits on his hands.

DE is pretty stacked. I’d argue top 5 in the league

3T is good enough. OSA is good and Thomas is good depth.

Toia makes or breaks 1t because mazi is not it
Thing is it isnt ideal to rely on a 7th round rookie to make or break a 1T rotation. It's arguably the hardest position for a rookie outside of QB. Arguably...

But yes I do have high hopes for Toia...

Interesting notion that the RB room is fine. I agree with adding to the defense, primarily at 1Tech. I actually think the LBs are ok, and CB is what it is, guys just have to get healthy.

I think they'll address 1tech once training camp starts. All depends on how mazi looks. He either took the jump or will prob get cut

We have until the trade deadline to trade for Hall if needed. No reason to do it now in a crowded backfield.
Could be an in-camp trade if our backs are not working out and the Jets' backs are. The Jets not drafting an RB may mean they stand pat but Hall is in the last year of his contract.

Frankly, I'd go grab Nick Chubb now and add to the competition.

I think it's been obvious already. No one wanted to accept what I was saying last season but I am correct. Jerry torpedoed the hc,the staff, the team, the season, to punish them. He was never interested in bringing anyone on the staff back except for a couple guys. Jerry IS that petty and evil. Like you said, we see clearly now, this is the case. This off-season couldn't be anymore different than the last.
So, he punished the entire fanbase ?
If Jerry was that upset about Mac, and given our poor season last year,
why was their any talk of bringing him back ?
We are talking Jerry here, so the answer does not have to make sense...
:muttley:

We just had a 1K rusher walk out the door that half our fam base didn’t like and Hall has never done that…who cares?

Giving up any type of high draft capital for him would be a mistake IMO.

Breece Hall is an elite back..

But..

Dallas should roll with what they have.

If the Bears would trade Roschon Johnson that’s the kind of move I’d like to see..

Heck maybe Javonte Williams is healthy and can play like he did before.
