The Cowboys will try him at RT rather than OG. That means Free is the future LT unless Brewster does not pan out at Tackle. They think he will.

Wow...that changes a few things. Maybe there will be 3 Olineman from last year gone. I would have thought that it would be risky to go that far, but it could happen.

Preston, Holland, and McQuistan would be the 3 I laid money on as gone.

That's good news. I hope he does well there because I think Free will be a good left tackle. That allows us to draft a guard early.

It only changes a few things if you weren't already trying to tell others this, which some of us were. ;)

There is still the possibility Dallas could draft a tackle and let him and Brewster fight it out to determine which one moves to guard. Depends on who is the best offensive lineman available.

Free needs to get stronger.

But, we are okay on oline for the next 3 years or so, then we need to worry if we haven't aquired a stud.

We need to address kick returns this offseason and I will see it as a success.

I never understood why people just *knew* he was a guard in the first place. The guy may not be tall, but he has long enough arms to play T.

It was mentioned at the mini camps last year that they saw him as versatile enough to play OG.

Right, but that doesn't mean he will definitely play OG.

The coaches also raved about his quick feet.

I wish Brewer would take Colombo's job now.

I want Pouncy at # 27.

He could challenge Kozier for LG and boot Proctor off the team.

You draft Pouncy and plug him in at LG and when Gurode quits making Pro Bowls, you slide him over to Center.

I don't see Dallas playing Free, Brewer, and a new LG. That seems to be too much turn over, especially for a team like Dallas, who has blocked elite players like Spencer and Jenkins with less talented players.

I'd like to see Brewer at RT for sure, but when will I see it?

I said that the Cowboys needed to replace 40% of their o-line now.

I will be lucky to get one change.

Ya, Pouncey at 27 is looking like our pick

He can play OG/C..adding solid depth and eventually starting in a year or two.

Pouncey it is.
