If you trade for him you take on the whole thing. You would half to give up a significant pick for Miami to pay a lot more than his dead money.

I have not heard anything on what kind of pick Miami is demanding. Have you read something on that? I honestly don't know.

It's been quiet on rumored trade value they want for him over here.

Is this what the kids call trolling?

Anyone who's paid attention knows Quinn will not play for Dallas.

No I haven't, but if it's not significant what incentive to they have to pay more than his dead money and trade him rather than simply releasing him?

Well, you gotta find somebody who is willing to take on the contract first. I mean, they could just release him, get stuck with the 1.2 guaranteed portion and get nothing or, they could kick in a couple more million and pick up a draft pick. I mean, they could go either way but one way means spending cap and getting nothing and the other means getting a pick. I just don't know what the expectation might be on a pick.

He isn't worth $6.5 mil.

Not based on the last 3 seasons.

19 sacks the last three years would put him 2nd to Lawrence on the team.

To say a guy who had 6.5 and 8.5 sacks the last two years isn't worth $6.5MM is bizarre.

Quinn is precisely the guy this team should be after. He carries no long term salary and cap implications but provides someone who would be an upgrade on what we have.

Quinn was a big time player in 2012-2014, but has been pretty ordinary since. He would likely help the Cowboys, but he’s not worth giving up too much. Played all 16 games last year with 6.5 sacks. Not worth his $12.9 million contract, plus he will be an unrestricted free agent after the season

6.5 sack for DAL is a good year, darn near fan favorite.

He's awful against the run... Awful.

He had 635 snaps for the Dolphins in 2018 and had 6 1/2 sacks. That's OK but not worth $6.5 mil when combined with his ****** performance vs the run.

Mistake by the Dolphins.

Once you tell the world you are willing to trade a player, nobody will trade for him. Better to just wait for Miami to cut him. Everybody knows they're tanking in 2019 anyway.

On top of that he's a declining player. Not worth even a 7th round pick to me.

This should be a valid look. Decent amount of sacks
6.5 - 2018
8.5 - 2017

That’s why I say he would likely help the Cowboys, but it may only be an incremental improvement. I’m not sure Tyrone Crawford wouldn’t have 6.5 sacks, or close to it, if he played DE full time. Of course QB pressures might be different. I wish I knew where to find that stat.

Dude was all-world five years ago. I'd consider floating a 7th for him, but feels like the Phins know he's overpaid.
5 years ago? Romo was playing 5 years ago. That's a lifetime in the NFL.
