That's definitely seems like the area, IMO. As much as people moan about him not being great in coverage/having ball skills, there are other teams that would kill to have a dead reliable, old school box safety with good character. $7M per is too rich for my blood....would love if he took $5M, but that's not happening.

If Church walks, then Frazier needs to make the leap in 2017 because Wilcox is not the answer at SS.

I prefer Wilcox to Church. I'd give Wilcox a deal maybe around the next tier down of money? $4mm AAV? And hope he continues to grow and improve.

I think we need to bring back at a minimum two of our guys in the secondary and hopefully three (carr, claiborne and the team's prefrence of Church/Wilcox).

This is what is likely to happen. I just think Claiborne isn't going to be so expensive and i'm happy to gamble again on his health. He's still young. And we'eve seen secondary players who have had injury issues early in their careers leave and enjoy longevity elsewhere. I'd rather that doesn't happen with Claiborne.
