Rockets VS Fakers thread

yeah, this series is going 7. Lakers can never close it out when they can, always end up letting the other team stick around.

It's the Fakers guys..their heads balooned up again and will get dominated game 6..I've seen this movie before and I know how it ends.

The Lakers are just too good. Their problem is they don't always come out ready to prove it.

A Cavs vs Lakers NBA final should be fun. I think the NBA wants King James to win, so thats who will win. Well, unless the Lakers can beat both the Cavs and the NBA front office at the same time.

I went to sleep at halftime. I get up too early in the am to stay up that late.

Everytime they go west, I never see the whole game. Thankfully, it doesn't look like I missed much.

Laker fan at the job been quiet everyday since the series been close. Came in today talking mad noise. I can hear her talking from all the way on the other side of the office.

With Houston injuries at center it will be difficult for them to win this series.

It was already difficult even before Yao went down.

I've never had any delusions about Rockets beating L.A. in this series. I've been pleasantly surprised by their play and hustle in most of the games.

If the series ends tomorrow, I'll think they had a great season.

Of course you'd want them to go further, but like one of the Chron writers said, when you got $35million dollar players sitting on the bench in suits, you don't anticipate going very far.

Yao wasn't much of a factor before he got hurt. Pau was abusing him.

I think they canceled each other out. Yao was getting good numbers. Pau was getting good numbers.

Pau is averaging 19/11 for the series.

Yao was averaging 19/11 in the three games he played.

Neither was getting great/dominant numbers which is what Houston definitely needed from Yao.

I'll admit I haven't watched every game of the series but the one I did see Pau dominated Yao. I wish he has played like that for the Griz.

Houston missed the rebounds that Yao was getting and point wise Yao has done a decent job down low. Without him Houston loses an important part of the inside game and it showed big time lastnight

ive said it before and ill say it again. Pau gasol isnt any better now that when he was in memphis, the difference is that now that he is a laker, he gets MAD love from the refs, he can do no wrong

It helps to have someone like Kobe on your team so that you aren't attracting ALL of the defensive attention.

If you're the fat lady - start singing. Otherwise, I expect to see your post after game six. Be there or B2...

Go Rockets.

It's early but so far it looks like Houston is intent on making the Lakers earn a game six victory. My main concern is the matchup inside and the Lakers' length allowing them to dominate the boards. But they can negate that largely if Brooks penetrates and the Rockets do a good job of hitting the open shot from the perimeter.

I'd like to see a game seven - even if it is in LA-LA Land.
