Plus it shows that maybe they (the Cowboys) won't over react if the two choice DL that fit their scheme (Barr & Donald) are off the board by 16... They'll let the draft come to them and pick up some useful players later on.

I think they'll trade up for Donald if he gets to around 10-11, in front of the Giants. Otherwise I think we stand pat or trade back.

I understand what you're saying but I hope it isn't true. We have too many holes to give up picks for 1 player who is replaceable with other players. Donald isn't a 1 a generation talent.

Honestly I wouldn't trade up, if Barr and Donald are gone trade back(Browns). Maybe net a 2nd and get Shazier in round one, then pick up both Jimmie Ward and Dominque Easley in the second. Just in the first two rounds you would add alot of talent.

Both dined at my work this evening. Were in intense football conversation for a solid 3 hours. Two more men were with them that I didn't recognize. Oddly enough, instead of eating the $80 steak, Easley opted for salmon. :p

What city?

Ugh we draft him he will be injured all the time I bet, we have a bad history of this. Also can everyone stop saying he would be a starter at 1 tech, maybe he would drop 10 lbs and play DE?

If they rotate him at 3-tech with Melton and both play in the nickel, then if the team is in nickel 1/3 of the time, each will get 67% of the snaps without ever playing the 1-tech or DE.

What's it going to be then, eh?

This is an outrageous story and totally can be dismissed. I mean who in the hell would order salmon over steak.

Not sure I trust a prospect that would order salmon. I am now going to downgrade Easley on my draft board.

That's a valid point.

It goes to show how bad things were last season with having to use a pure #1 DT in Hayden for over 800 snaps.

Salmon? Isn't that a Buccaneer's color? He is sending a message to Dallas (the punk)

Seriously though, if he got a salad, then I would be upset :D
...I like to hear stuff like this...I assume that this doesn't count as one of the 30 pre-draft visits or does it? (not exactly sure how that works by the rules)

...also, 2nd rounder, sure, not in the first, even if they trade down (unless they somehow got a high 2nd so they could take their chance with him in r1 and still get a guy early on day 2)

I could sign up for this plan

1.Shazier
2.Ward
2.Easley
3.turner
4.caraun Reid

That would be a great start

Salmon is disgusting.

I am sure the Cowboys paid for the meal. Order the ribeye.

I just read a article that said if he didn't have the knee he would be right up there with Clowney.

Salmon is disgusting. But it does send a great message to have a big guy watching his Omega 3s heading into the draft. Easley's becoming a pet cat of mine here.
