That's when it tends to get ugly in the DAL FO. Even when the best option is staring them in the eyes (QB) they see it as an opportunity to trade down and "get cute". I hope I am wrong.

Dallas has been pretty solid on their first round picks. When they have traded down (Fred), it has turned out well. I want a QB as well, I think the team does too...they are just holding their cards tight.

They are doing the visits, they are leaking they have "no interest". It makes sense they would say they have no interest if they do have interest because teams behind us may be less likely to trade up if they feel a QB prospect will fall to them.

Oh I just recently gave McClay great credit for that find specifically. I was thinking more of the JJ days coming back to form. Can McClay tell them Romo won't play 4 seasons; 2 realistically if lucky? If he can, I would be surprised. But would be glad to be wrong most definitely and hope they are shadowing their pick Goff/Wentz.
