Rod Smith

I thought he showed a nice diverse skill set while Zeke was out. It was really surprised by what he showed as a receiver.

I think it's there for him to be a highly effective complementary back this season
Good utility player but he's basically a more intelligent version of Troy Hambrick.

He's not an NFL talent.

But yet here he is going into his 4th year in the NFL. And you being a self appointed expert on NFL players (as we all think we are too), sit, stand, lay in the bed and post about players.

I would love the same lineup. Elliot then let Morris and Smith split time or which ever is hot.

Hes just here to motivate his brother whom the Cowboys expect the new Ray Lewis out of.

Interesting way of putting it. Probably not that far off.

I just hope they are not putting designs on him that are way over his head, like being the primary backup to Elliott.

I never heard where he doesn’t have any vision. Tell us where you heard this and provide a link.
This is nothing I've heard....it's what I've seen in games. I've personally seen him run into the back of his own offensive lineman several times...just kinda reminded me of Julius Jones back there. I just think he's very replaceable....he didn't have as much impact as some of his supporters pretend he had this past season. His one good game was the 2nd game against the Giants who had already quit at that point. Actually just took a look and he had a pretty decent game vs SF as well, another bad team. I like him as a pass catcher more than I do as a runner but he's not a true 3rd down back because you can't trust him to protect the QB (I don't believe anyways...) so I think he's very replaceable based on that synopsis.

I liked him and feel he was underutilized. He runs hard and can make plays on those swing passes we too often forget about.
