NBC's Rodney Harrison may be the first network type to say what a lot of you are thinking: The Cowboys are not a well-coached team

NBC may soon be mourning the Cowboys' season. After all, the Cowboys are scheduled for two more Sunday Night appearances -- vs. Philadelphia and vs. Washington -- and they didn't exactly overwhelm the lowly Chiefs.

NBC's own experts weren't exactly crowing over the Cowboys yesterday.

Rodney Harrison, the ex-Pat and Chargers DB: "I don't like their chances. I think they think they are better than they are. They're too inconsistent and not a well coached team. I don't believe in this team."

Tony Dungy, the ex-Colts coach, did not go quite so far: "Right now they are not a playoff-type team. You can beat the Kansas City's of the world like this but to win the NFC East they are going to have to play much better."

Al Michaels, the crafty veteran, offered a more old-school analysis of the Cowboys situation: He called the Cowboys OT win over the win-less Chiefs: "A very important and dramatic win for those guys. Romo needed a game like that. Wade Phillips needed a game like that."

Dallas can play at the level of any team. The best OR the worst. Write them off if you want.

Oh, and **** you barry horn. :) Once again you find the bright spot in all the media's spiel.

:bravo: Rodney. I feel your pain. I may be sounding on a hollow board but I will keep sounding until someone that sits in a high enough seat realizes we're going nowhere with Wade at the helm and makes a move. The bye week is the perfect time to extract/insert at the HC position and get this team pointed back in the right direction. There is no attention to detail, no accountability, and no emotion. Wade's getting paid to resemble this...

This is a Player led Team that will go as far as the players can take them.

Rodney - I agree. He comes from a team that was coached very well.

Tony - being nice to a coach like himself. Soft and a good guy.

Al - It was true. Just need to take advantage of the win.

I find it particularly difficult to watch Harrison. He's just not cut out for television.

Yeah, Harrison is to broadcasting as Wade is to head coaching.

Soi if the Cowboys suck(which is not his words but its basically what Harrison is saying) what are the Bronco's and Giants who "barely" beat the Cowboys and actually were losing at one point to the Cowboys in both games? They should've BLOWED the Cowboys away since their the superior competition and the Cowboys are clearly inferior.

He's trying too hard to be controversial. I saw him rip the hell out of Campbell and even though i'm a Cowboy fan I even had to sit back and be like what the hell? He and Dungy see things just about the same but Dungy's is toned down and more concrete. Harrison is basically "they suck and that's the end of the season" and he can offer more than that.

I'm not surprised by Harrison. He also said yesterday that the Patriots were the first actual test for Denver so far this year. So it's not like he's ever given, or will give, the Cowboys much credit for anything.

Wade is not at the helm of this team...so removing him won't fix the coaching problem....even if it might help.

Jerry is the head coach of this team.

Is Jeff Fischer a good coach? How's his team doing? Coaches are overated at this level. Wade didn't drop any passes, fumble any balls, miss any field goals or miss any tackles yesterday. He also called a pretty good game as a D coordinator and as a head coach. I'm just sayin.

I definitely disagree. Cincy and Dallas provided plenty of test for Denver. They were trailing both of those games in the 4th quarter. Harrison needs to go re-watch those games.
