That is alot of beef..... :D

Just heard Spags on the ticket.....no word on Rogers......we have 3 options at RT.....Petitti steps up, which Spags questions, move LA, or bring BPA in.

I guess we shall see.

On maybe that fat*** Tucker would finally step up and regain his starting position.

I wish Tucker had shown up in shape. At least we'd have more options.

I'm still hoping for the best with Rogers, but I truly wonder how this guy is going to survive an entire season (and hopefully post-season!) . . . .

Yeh it would have been good if Tucker had shown up in shape, sadly the day he didnt it was over between him, coach BP, and the Cowboys.

If we dont get RT sorted out its really going to effect our passing game, and our O in general. Come on dallascowboys.com give us an update !

That's a lot of pressure on Petitti, esp. given that it's a new position for him.

I'd first look to see if we could bring someone in before moving LA.

Agree......Leave LA alone.......Bring someone in.

wow, what a bummer... it has to be vollers if rogers is out. tucker is a bum and petitti is a rookie moving from the left side.

I'll believe that when I see it... :D

if we are down to 4 OT, we have to bring someone in. Lord knows i'm pulling for Petitti, but he is moving from the other side and is injured.

103.3 just reported that they could not find any more damage to Rogers shoulder.

Apparently he's just sore.

maybe i'm just spitballing here but perhaps we should not have spent a second rounder on a guy with chronic shoulder problems...

Thats what I just saw on another forum, still want official news. Any of you guys heard that here ???

From another forum as well

"Jerry Jones just told Steve (espn) that the MRI showed no damage and the Jacob Rogers would be day to day. So they avoided a bullet again. More details later."

Anyone else heard this ?

cowboy's excelling at bullet-dodging... a portent of things to come?

it would suit me fine after a decade of frustration.

Amen. I'd say we're more than due for a little good luck.

if he's ok, i just wonder what the timetable for his return is.

Listen, I would like to drink the cool aid with you, about Rogers. Hell it would make me sleep better. But if you think a guy who had injury problems in college, was out all of his first year in the pros and is injured the first week of TC is a guy you can count on for 4 games much less 16. You are crazy.

I don't know why anyone would "poo poo" on you for asking that question. It's a very legitimate question. I hated teh Rogers pick last year because of his injury history. Who the hell cares how good he can be if he's gonna be hurt all the dang time? I'd rather have a Kurt Vollers at RT then a Toni Boselli. Sure Boselli is an absolute beast, but hurt all the time (now retired), whereas Vollers is solid and durable (*knock on wood*).

I certainly hope I'm wrong about Rogers. I pray that I'm wrong about ROgers, but praying and hoping doesn't change reality. He has and always will be injury prone. Lets hope Vollers does "Good enough" at RT this year.

I agree here ... especially about Vollers ... that's who I'm pulling for to step up ...
