I ripped the Cowboys for trading for him. It turns out they were right, clearly. But I think it's time we turn the page on this headcase and just be thankful we got the production out of him that we did.

Sean Lee is back, admittedly with a return ticket, and we've got FA and the draft for other options.

Why turn away a talent that young? He clearly responded positively to being around. And earned the respect of his teammates and coaches.

Ro also carries the blessing of Nick Saban (which Nick didn't have to give and it'd never have been known).

These are the type of situations where you gain a competitive advantage.

Just say No to letting Ro Go.

McClain facing 4 game suspension

Counting on this guy or Sean Lee is a huge mistake. McClain leverage down to non existent. Bruce Carter just gained a little. Also I bet the Cowboys are looking hard at LBs in the draft right now. Perryman would give this defense nasty and intensity.

I got ripped for assuming the worst about McClain when arson was announced. I just had a bad feeling about the guy. They way the season ended was suspect to begin with, now add substance abuse. Anything is possible with this guy.

If he wants the vet minimum fine, but I'm still signing Durant, trying to get Carter cheap and maybe drafting Perryman from the U.

LBs can be the strength of this Defense without a ton of money.

Yes, I don't know why they wouldn't want him back if he accepts what they offer in terms of a new contract. If he is really interested in eventually getting a big contract, he just needs to prove himself in 2015. He obviously proved in 2014 that he had the ability, but he needs a stable year in 2015 to really prove that he is committed to football and can stay healthy. The Cowboys are the perfect situation for him to prove himself.

hmm.people here were already counting on him and saying we dont need to drafts any LBs in the draft, that depth is the shakiest on defense with a bunch of guys who cant stay healthy or out of trouble.

It's too unpredictable with this guy, and he's so touchy, everybody is walking on eggshells around him.

That must get old.

Wow, ridiculous. The guy practically saved the defense especially early in the season and we got him for basically nothing and cheap. Your ripping proved to be wrong. I still want him back next season and relying on Lee is laughable.

With the new substance abusers policy he gets a 4 Game fine for this third offense. A fourth offense would be an actual 4 game suspension

So that means it for weed and he has been caught twice before. The second failed test was supposed to be a 2 game fine, but that was never reported. Maybe he was caught between the old policy and the new policy, but 3 failed test is no beuno.

according to Bleacher Report, RoMac is facing a 4 game fine under the new rules. For failing a 3rd time substance abuse test.
Next time it will be a 4 game suspension.

Sorry, can't post the link right now.

Is this for smoking reefer or what?

Mike Fisher tweeted something out along those lines. Something to do with the relaxed penalties and testing thresholds for marijuana.

And now he is a free agent. Unless he is cheap again, you have to factor in his reliability?

Who is more reliable? The player who gets injured, or the player who makes a choice to smoke marijuana?

Again i say how are people going to be preaching RKG religiously on this site, but keep defending guys like this.

My stance on Rolando, Dallas has 3 guys who could start at MLB(Lee, Hitchens, Durant). How many guys do they have that can be productive at SAM? The tried Durant, and he was horrible. They tried Hitchens and it was clear he would struggle because he couldnt get off blocks. The only guy to have had success was Carter. IMO this team needs to keep that guy who had success at a spot where the other LBers you have couldnt. Carter/Lee/ and let Durant and Hitchens battle it out for WLB. Dallas doesnt need Rolando. Hell Dallas played very good at the end of the yr when Rolando played very little.

Rolando McClain 12 starts 81 tackles 1sack 2int
Anthony Hitchens 11 starts 75 tackles 1int

Bruce Carter 68 tackles 1 sack 8pdef 5int

Seeing that a first offense for Scandrick under the new rules was 4 games I don't think this is accurate.

The player who doesn't get injured. Players smoke marijuana and are still out on the field. Are you serious right now?

If McClain signs for the vet minimum he will lose less money to the fine.....#brainondrugs
