I would never trade Romo for Cutler. Cutler is a baby and with the pressure and heat in Dallas he would probably have a dietbetes attack or something.

Can u say that about Cutler?

Romo has never had a season in the NFL with a QB rating below 90. He didnt start as an untrained novice so didn't see his numbers sky rocket.

FWIW, Aikman had 2 seasons in his career with a QB Rating over 90. Both times we won the Super Bowl.

Cutler over Romo is an easy choice. Point blank, Cutler can make throws that no one else in the league can. He can make throws that haven't been made since Elway. You put him on our team and he'll blow up. There's not a young QB in the league I like more than him. Romo's good, but I can't help but be scared when the balls in his hands with the game on the line. His play style and the mistakes he makes scare me, and he needs to improve this offseason if we're ever going to win anything with him at QB.

why does it have to be Romo for Cutler? if Jerry can trade a first and a third for 15 catches... why not trade for Cutler and sit him on the bench... with the oline the Boys hae and Tony style of play Cutler will see playing time!

Anyone think the Broncos wouldnt take The "Super Bowl Bound" Cowboys 2010 #1 pick...

Oh wait didnt Jerry trade for Kitna?

only blithering idiots want Romo gone

I agree....

Why would you want him gone when you have no one to replace him.

That being said. Cutler still has more upside.

Exactly. Romo is definitely the best we've had here since Aikman. Only problem is I'm not sure he's good enough to get it done.

But I don't want him gone since we have no one other than an old backup behind him and a young 3rd stringer. We need competition for him and to actively pursue our next QB.

The ones that would take Cutler over Romo are pure haters of Romo or are lacking in the intelligent department. Romo's worst Qb rating was last year at 91.4 and that beats Cutler's best season at 88.5. And to the ones saying Romo has too many turnovers, well him and Cutler are pretty the same in the turnover category. Cutler has 37 INT and 24 fumbles in 37 games while Romo has 46 Int and 32 fumbles in 45 games. Cutler has 54 TD's in 37 games to Romo 81TD's in 45 games.

To be fair, more turnovers than a bakery and choking every december for 3 years tends to do that to fans.

I would give them Romo and then some if they brought that deal to me.

It's a good thing you aren't in control of the team. Cutler has just as many turnover per game as Romo, next argument.

Anyone who wants to make this trade has no idea about the time and effort that goes into learning an offense and the work that it takes for a QB and OC to eventually 'get it right'.

This would set the offense back two full seasons.

And when did Jay Cutler ever do anything to make anyone think he's going to ever be a Super Bowl caliber QB?

These threads are so annoying.
