Romo's yards per attempt today was 14.06 on 36 attempts.

No one has ever had a 14+ yards per attempt on that many attempts before, at least since 1960. Until today, the highest ever YPA on at least 36 attempts was Y.A. Tittle with 12.95 on 39 attempts in 1962. Romo beat that by nearly a full yard.

Romo's adjusted yards per pass attempt (factoring in TD and INT) was 16.83.

No one has ever had an AYA that high on that many attempts before either (at least since 1960). Until today, that record also belonged to Tittle, in that same game. He had 7 TD and 0 INT in that game, by the way. His AYA was 16.54

Since 1960, teams whose QB have a 140+ rating and 300+ yards in a game are now 142-2, with Romo owning both losses.

Sounds like the failing defense we've had in place Romo's entire career. They play well at times, but fail in crunch time and can't stop anybody. Parcells, Wades, Ryan's, and now Kiff's. We stink.

The haters can say what they want about Romo. But with out romo and this sorry defense dallas would have never been in this game.

This lose is on the defense. Monte needs to get his **** together or retire

not arguing the defense sucks but tie game with three minutes to go, what turned the game in Denver's favor.......the Romo INT, end of story!!

And people will not appreciate what they have until its gone. Romo was not the reason for this loss. He outplayed Peyton Manning.

This was a team loss. Coaches, defense & ST share the blame.

I posted this in another thread but this one seems more appropriate. I'm watching the Niners on SNF and it's the 4th quarter. Kapernick is stinking the place up and he just completed his first pass since the 1st quarter and his team is up 24 to 3 or something like that. Let that sink in for a second. We have a QB that throws for 500 yards and 5 TD's and he loses. Romo has to have more losses in games where he had a 100 plus QB rating than any other QB.

2011 at home vs. the Giants.

Unbelievable stat, as always (thanks). It is a crystallization of what has happened in this post 2006 era. The Broncos' defense was equally bad, however, somebody just played a bad card in the last hand IMO.

And why was the game tied with three minutes left. Because the defense let manning tie it up after romo gave us the led after a great drive.

I think the way I'll always view Romo is that even if he came up short in some big games (and he definitely did against Washington last year), he did so much to carry a lackluster and conceited front office in the rest of the games that 95% of my vitriol will always be directed toward them.

We have no defense to speak of and have not for the majority of his time.

48-41 in the fourth quarter with the crowd as loud as ever and the defense just needs to get a stop to win and they can't do it.

This is one of the worst defenses we have ever had. monte Kiffin didn't even have the balls to talk t the media after, they are all just pinning the loss on romo as usual, no matter what blame him.

Why does romo always have to bale the boy out. Romo gave dallas the lead. The defense could have stepped up and stopped them for achange
