119 attempts... 84 completions... 70.6 completion percentage... read that last one again...

1124 yards... 9.45 yards per attempt... read that last one again...

8 TDs... 4 ints...

108.7 quarterback rating... read that one again...

I'm content with the quality of our quarterback play right now... :D

As for Ellis, though it looked to all the world like an Achilles injury, he was putting a fair amount of weight on it as he stood on crutches on the sidelines at game's end... a torn Achilles is very, very, very painful... he wouldn't be putting ANY weight on it...

Ah well, we can hope, anyway... we also have to recognize that we've been fortunate on the injury front so far this year...

I think maybe Sam Hurd can play WR in the NFL... he and Crayton made missing Terry Glenn a little easier to take...

Honestly I think Hurd fits Romo's style of play much better than Glenn.

This is the first time since 1993 that we've had a quarterback with at least 225 yards in four consecutive games.

Ellis did tear his achilles. He was probably able to put weight on it cuz he was under the influence of a fair amount of pain killers.

Soon I think we'll be hearing (accurately) that Romo is the best QB we've had here since Aikman.

Hurd is a BIG target that I like--is Glenn missing really going to hurt us?

Wow....has it been that long?

When was our last 300 yard game by a QB?

Was it last year against KC?

You shorted him 9 attempts. Here are the actual numbers, unless I screwed up too.:)

65.6% 8.78ypa 101.2 rating

But I'm just splitting hairs there. What we have on our hands is one of the top 5 rated passers in the NFL as soon as he has enough attempts to qualify. If he doesn't already, he will next week.

I snapped mine in two. You can put weight on it, but it just won't bend when you tell it to. I actually tried driving myself to the hospital when I did it, but I realized I couldn't push in the clutch, I figured out what was wrong with me.

DIdn't need that visual.

Achilles injuries are the worst injury you could get nowadays (for football players).

Not hard to see that one coming. He is playing the with the most complete QB skills since #8. Everyone in between always left somehthing to be desired, even when they played well. Quincy always left yards on the field, and had questionable accuracy and decision making, Hutch had no pocket presence, Testy was a statue, Bledsoe (see Testy). Romo was off today in the 1st qtr. but was able to still make plays as the game went on. He escaped at least 2 sure Bledsoe sacks, and was robbed of a 3rd TD. At this point, I'm comfortable saying that this is no fluke.

Does anybody know what it is? I realize he might not have enough attempts
to be listed with the other leaders. thanks
