Bigger target for short/intermediate routes. Glenn is more of a deep threat.FLcowboy;1158841 said:You may be right, but what makes you say that?
Where does he come up with this stuff? Thanks Stephen errrrrrr Adam.AdamJT13;1158332 said:This is the first time since 1993 that we've had a quarterback with at least 225 yards in four consecutive games.

DIAF;1160100 said:I am not completely sold either. So far he's faced one good defense (as we all have seen now, Carolina is NOT a good defense anymore) and got killed (Giants).
SultanOfSix;1160106 said:I'm not sold yet either. But, he's played remarkably well to make me giddy enough to believe he's the future (unlike past failed attempts at QB). Also, he was never "killed" in the Giants game. He threw three picks (one was the fault of Crayton), one was because he tried to force it because he thought he had a penalty, and the other was tipped up in the air and picked off. And yet he still threw for over two hundred yards in the half. Selective memory if I say so myself.

This does not compute. Which is it?
I'm sorry, but 3 INTs is GETTING KILLED, no matter how many yards you throw for. Its not selective memory, its seeing something for what it is. Good players and good teams don't turn the ball over 3 times in a half. Hopefully it won't happen again. But that 4 game stretch will really let us know what we have. Surely YOU can agree that facing the Skins and Cardinals does not even come close to facing the likes of Philly/NY/ATL....

I'll add to that, Romo leads the league in YPA at 8.78 and TD% at 6.3. He's also been sacked the fewest times in the league, Albiet 3 starts. His QB rating is kickbutt and basically built on the road. Next week the two top rated passers in the league meet in Dallas.silverbear;1158266 said:119 attempts... 84 completions... 70.6 completion percentage... read that last one again...

I'm content with the quality of our quarterback play right now...
As for Ellis, though it looked to all the world like an Achilles injury, he was putting a fair amount of weight on it as he stood on crutches on the sidelines at game's end... a torn Achilles is very, very, very painful... he wouldn't be putting ANY weight on it...
Ah well, we can hope, anyway... we also have to recognize that we've been fortunate on the injury front so far this year...
I think maybe Sam Hurd can play WR in the NFL... he and Crayton made missing Terry Glenn a little easier to take...
