Rodgers' terrible game today drops his QB rating to 111.2... Romo's rating rose to 110.4. A strong finish in these last 2 games by Tony and another mediocre game from Rodgers could be the difference.
Yep, that's still 2nd best in the NFL, folks. Like it's been for much of the season. I can't imagine Romo getting MVP consideration no matter what happens from here on out since Murray and the OL have been such a big story all year.
Still, this puts into perspective just how much of a monster Romo's been this year. Those who still think he sucks or isn't "clutch" probably need a new hobby that isn't so confounding to them.
What I'm really curious about: let's say Romo and the 'Boys finally do it and get that Lombardi. Either this year or in the next few years. What will the haters do? Pretend they've been Romo fans who have enjoyed the journey all along?
Part of me feels sorry for these poor saps... they're witnessing an all-time GREAT under center for their favorite team, and they won't even realize it until it's too late (if at all).
I mean... you people realize the guy's a LOCK for the Hall of Fame if you add a Super Bowl ring to his already incredible resume, right?
