Image: Romo evading Watt for the TD

Anyone saying Watt was a non-factor was wearing serious homer shades.

Did he single handedly control the game? No, but the guy was everywhere, played every DL position and was in the backfield regularly. Did our OL get the better of him on some snaps? Yes, but Watt was in the backfield hurrying throws and making Murray bounce with regularity.

Thank god Linehan stuck with the run. If this was last years playcalling, Romo would have gotten murdered.

Romo demise has been greatly exaggerated. On one play he shows he still has the ability to escape that has been a big part of his game and had no problem getting the ball deep down field. lol

And friggin Williams with another body catch. I cringed when he went up awkwardly and let it get to his body. It sincerely looked like it was going to be a drop.

About fifty seven yards in the air, absolutely right on target.

Gotta love our second tier QB.

The best part (besides the win) is Tony made one of the best defensive players in the NFL into his own personal highlight dupe!

That SOB Romo, wait till I get my hands on,,,

Watts was no more of a factor than any other player on the Texans D line. Murray had 137 yds on the ground, Romo threw for 324 yds and evaded Watts to launch a TD pass to Williams. Moving around on the D-Line doesn't mean he made an impact. If he had such a big impact his stats would show it i.e. pressures, fumbles, pd etc. We accounted for Watts and played him as well as any other DE we faced all season. I know you like the guy but lets not overrate his impact yesterday.

Most of y'all had him dead, buried and out the door about 7 weeks ago. How soon we forget.

Bump.

Please. Everyone watch this again.

THAT'S your Tony Romo.

No one does that, right?

Unbelievable..........

Romo has really impressed me the last few weeks.

This O-line has completely set the tempo for the entire team.

Imagine if he was only 27. It's a shame we've practically wasted his career because Jerry never felt he needed to upgrade the line because of Romo's "escapability."

I will never understand that.

Actually, I am on record as not liking the guy and thinking he is overrated.

You're absolutely delusional to think he had no impact though. He had a pressure on the very play this thread is based on, for god's sake. He was in the backfield all day. Watch the game again. No, pressures/fumbled/sacks arent the only way to measure impact for a DE just like int's arent the only way to measure impact by a DB.

I seriously don't know how anyone couldn't like JJ Watt unless you really hate the Texans.

I really hate the Texans but I do have a lot of respect for Watt. Dallas did a great job of keeping him under control. Tonight Houston will play the Colts and I fully expect to see Watt giving Luck and the Colts a hard time

He's a beast on the field & a good guy off. The Colts are not bad but I think the Texans win that.

If the Texans had a decent QB they'd be pretty darn good.
