The conspiracy theory side of me thinks this is a ratings ploy by the NFL. Most games this weekend aren't worth watching. And why would it be put "out there" that Romo is going to play? Oh yeah, now people will tune in to watch him.

Points I heard on the break were:

If you are concerned about the possibility of Dak going down and an injury prone Romo needs to come in you may want to save that last bullet for when you need it.

However, if hes that injury prone you may not want to risk it at all because they wont carry 3 active QBs so youd run the risk of trotting Cole Beasley out there to play QB. Meaning Sanchez should be the back up.

I personally agree with the later. If Romo cant make it through this game the odds are he wouldn't make it through a playoff game either.

I for one am excited to see him play. I love Dak but will always have a soft spot for Romo. I hope he crushes it.

He can't if Sanchez is going to play.

They can if they want. Yes I know we have major injuries but I'm sure we still had a few players last week that got minimal snaps.

Not saying they would do this at all but they could make Zeke inactive and roll with McFadden/Dunbar. If something happens there, we can just throw a fullback back there.

Just thinking we will have enough bodies to open up a single spot if needed.

Correct on all counts. I think Ill do myself a favor and avoid the game thread this week. The last meaningless game we played I was told we stood no chance in the playoffs. This game they may have us forfeiting the season.
