Have you heard that Romo is trying to qualify for the U.S. Open? What is your thoughts about that?

Good for him. Hope he makes the cut. You either accept he has a life outside of football or you don't. I hope he turns pro and quits football so the haters can really know what it is like to have no QB.

Don't get in a fight with your caddie, and break all your clubs, leaving you with just a seven iron.

Good luck to him.

I dont know golf terminology but usually hes super on the initial contact of the ball but struggles on the short stuff. If he could get that short game down, he could qualify.

I want you to all know that I am not a Romo Hater!! I often tell people that I am "homo for Romo" haha. I think it is awesome to see an athlete so competitive and athletic to succeed in multiple sports. I was just curious of other fans thoughts and opinions. I always hate to see so much criticism on a player that I love. I say Good Luck Tony!!

Lay up??!?

LAY UP???!??

Laying up is for wimps... Roy McEvoy had the right idea... :D

I think he'll do better than he did last year but I don't know if he'll ever qualify while he's playing football. He usually isn't all that close iirc.

I can actually show you where every winning Super Bowl QB in History is a golfer.

Golf isn't an issue. Naive fans is the issue.

Welcome to the Zone. Hold on tight. It gets bumpy in here.

Why not???

Every golf pro worth his salt has at one time or another played one club golf, and most often, the weapon of choice is the 7 iron...

I got to where I was semi-deadly from 6 feet in using the 7 iron as a putter... which was some better than I could do with my putter, LOL... but unlike Roy McEvoy, Lord help me if I got into a bunker... :D
