1st 4 weeks clearly show that, 72% is wonderful but not even 200 yds per game is shameful for our GUNSLINGER who who used to regularly put up 300 yds per game. No imagination on this offense at all...completely vanilla. Jerry better have a Come to Jesus meeting with Garrett and Callahan today.

Romo is neutering himself, you can't hang on to the ball that long and not have people open down field, yet time and time again he goes with the 3yd dump off. He has no confidence.

He's averaging 250 yards per game, which I think is better than his career average.

My mistake, he is averaging 250 yds per game...I do think that is below his avg though. Not really the point though, this offense just seems to have zero imagination and seems to be quite content with the short ball.

More importantly he has no confidence in a wide receiver making a play against a defender, that is why the long ball was not, has not, and will continue to not be thrown. One thing I loved about Aikman and at least even Eli does is throw at least 4-5 deep balls a game.

He is the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. We did not score a single TD in the second half in both losses this year. These were ten drives without a TD.

He used to be the king/gunslinger in the fourth quarter when we were trailing. Not anymore. Perhaps age finally caught up on him.

Or, perhaps it is ridiculous to draw such broad conclusions based on two games.

Sure, you want bigger sample size. How about this: he led us to 24-26 record since 2010 and we have not made playoff since 2010 as well. Which other 100-M QB does that?

That last time we played a playoff game was on January 17, 2010.

It's possible his ribs are still sore. Overall it seems like forever ago when he let it rip. Remember when we got inside the 50 yard line and we would take a shot? I miss those days.

I really don't understand how Romo takes the blame for everything. What's changed? Callahan. Bradshaw even ranted about it.

Nobody like Garrett. Now nobody like Callihan. Romo gets criticized for taking too many chances. Now he's criticized for not taking enough.

At some point people are going to have to accept that this is a team game. Dropped passes, fumbles.

Jerry invests in Playmakers and limits investment in OL and DL. Giants take the opposite approach and have two recent Super Bowls with lesser skill players.

It's as simple as that.

On a pace to have his best statistical season ever (minus yardage and 36 TDs). You guys really don't want romo chucking the ball all over the field. We did that for years and have 1 PO win to show for it. We need DM and the running game to be a force. We need Dez to be the primary and Witten to be the safety outlet. Right now, that isn't the case. More DM, more Dez = more points.

Well its obviously the offensive scheme. What did all secondaries just turn into lock down corners and ball hawk safeties this off season? No. Its obviously us.

The Cowboy defense neutered Romo, they were on the field the whole day......can't throw 300 yards from the bench

This. I did not see the game but 20 unanswered points is inexcusable.

I said last week that if the defense, especially the d-line, did not play with the same relentless passion that they played with against the Rams, Rivers would carve them up. I think I was right. I'll have to watch the game.

Actually Witten is the safety outlet and I personally think that is problematic. I agree with your other points though.

Bingo. I'm so tired of every single third down going to Witten....it's like the entire world knows what's coming and who it's coming to and the QB insists on going his way. It hasn't changed since the T.O days and it won't until one or both is gone.

Hanna is going to go to the Pats in a couple of years and catch 60 balls in his sleep.

Right, the other teams say.. "Just take Witten out of the game and Romo won't know what to do". Even when Witten is covered tightly Romo still tries to force balls in there to him. Or how about the 3rd and 10's and Romo throws Witten a 2 yard pass?

He's on pace for a career high in TDs, rating and completion %, and a low in INTs while maintaining his average yards. Lets complain! Romo is finally having the ultra-efficient year while maintaining or topping his average production, and now people say he's "neutered". People here really will complain about anything he does.

Partially the offense fault, you can't keep going 3 and out while the other team sustains long scoring drives.

I agree with this too. Sure the defense sucked majorly and was the #1 reason for the losss.. but our offense wasn't helping those guys out at all either.
